Description

a long time ago, someone skyped me, they inquired about my artistic and musical skills, I let them listen to some of the things I wrote out, and they liked it, so they asked me to help them come up with some lyrics about thunder and lighting well we worked on it, and no matter what I did he did not like it, ether way he never got back to me and the lyrics sat on my hardrive taking up space so instead of getting rid of them I decided to sing it myself.

Your voice is good .....
I would watch the levels and RED ZONE a little in spots .... as an ECHO / REVERB junkie I had no problem with that ... but I think the echo could be cut back slightly for an acapella piece .... as there is no music to blend it in with ..... you should talk with some of the people here about doing some collabs ... I KNOW there are TONS of them who I'm sure whould be more than happy to provide you with some instruments to go with your own unique instrument ! Nice !

	Actually, I think its charm is the fact that it is minimalistic. I will agree that it is hard to understand the words at time, but hey, there are plenty of commerical songs on radio that I can't understand without the printed lyrics. I like it. Actually,
you made me smile, while I know that everyone seeks praise for there work and sometimes critisizm is more needed then that praise sometimes people miss the point of musical peaces. don't get me wrong I like praise like anyone else but I am not seeking it, but it is much apreiceated and it seems you found the point to what I have done. however I still hope that someone can come along and maybe add something to it and make it abit nicer. like light or soft instraments behind it. thanks again you really did make me smile.

Well, I am fighting against a track that has too many echo and reverb effects
on it. Here's some additional work I did on teptep's original song. I added a
few 12-string guitar strikes and ceramic drum hits. Still needs a lot of work:

No, I didn't scrap it. I am trying to learn the song now. I tend to write something and rush into recording it. Then it takes me several days or weeks to really discover how the song should be played and sung. I will be posting another version of it soon. Thanks for your inspiration and thanks for letting me know you you like my wayward version of your song.
