Description:
Uploaded a previous version of this a couple of weeks ago but thought it lacked a little something; an edge of some sort.
What better place to go to for an edge but Ziti?
He graciously agreed to lay down some tracks for me, so here it is.

pink floyd influenced? &mdash 05/27/06 - 05:35:19 PM
I'm a sucker for guitars. good playing and nice backing tracks. very pink
floyd like. only if David Gilmour was on hand to sing. [ Reply to This ]
This is just exactly... &mdash 05/27/06 - 06:21:33 PM
Cool &mdash 05/27/06 - 07:26:53 PM
OK, the guitar is stunning, but that bass line and drums are really driving
me to another dimension. Good work. Production very clean too. [ Reply to This ]
heheheheheh &mdash 05/27/06 - 07:55:24 PM
Hmm... &mdash 05/27/06 - 07:58:44 PM
If macjams had had only one success, to have used this digital medium to
bridge the geographic divide between you two musical soulmates, it
would have been enough. I, for one, consider myself lucky to have
witnessed it. You two just kill me. Downloading now. Thanks for giving
it away. [ Reply to This ]
KILLER! &mdash 05/27/06 - 09:14:43 PM
Man oh man! Speechless. So good, you guys. I'm sure you don't need
anyone to tell you that. [ Reply to This ]
Starcraft &mdash 05/27/06 - 10:15:44 PM
ok sooo, um, is that you on guitar, cause that is HOT. Again Ein, you have
an extremely original style, keep going with it, i think youre on to
something [ Reply to This ]
dynamic &mdash 05/28/06 - 03:48:51 AM
It's very powerful when the drums and bassgroove first appear. Doing this live, played loud would make an immense impact.
This is no doubt very well done on both parts.
Personally i find that soloing/improvisations that run over a whole song can be a bit too much. There are parts in here that tends to be a bit jammed to my taste. Cooling it of with a hook-line or a break in the soloing can be very effective and give the impro even more power when it comes back on.
But that's just my taste, and it's very easy to just flow with the groove when that gitar is plugged in and the good sounds comes rolling along.
Of course I'll have grab a copy. Don't get me wrong, I really like this piece:)

sweet spot &mdash 05/28/06 - 07:32:02 AM
there's definitely a floyd flavor here. still you two guys sound like you
were right there together when this was done. a very seamless collab.
cool ending as well. your both on my fav's but when you put it together
like this, its a real treat. [ Reply to This ]
Sorry, folks &mdash 05/28/06 - 08:16:11 AM
but you'll lose your audience in the first third of song. The rising through the last two thirds is cool and draws you in but the first part is too scattered to hook anyone. My partner here had already said she didn't like it before you really started rolling. I got a little testy and said, "Hey, I'm trying to listen to this. Give it a chance." But she was already gone.
Your musical moves, as always, are stunning but I question the structure of the song. I think this one needs to go back to the drawing board. [ Reply to This ]
Wow! &mdash 05/28/06 - 11:05:13 AM
Wow... Ziti's guitar playing imbued an already excellent piece with edgy
pyrotechnique guitar sounds. This otherwise sedate masterpiece is
transformed from mild to wild!
With two enormously talented musicians collaborating, what else is there
to expect but near perfection! [ Reply to This ]
psychedelia..... &mdash 05/28/06 - 01:58:19 PM

music........really nice playing ziti...narus.....!!! [ Reply to This ]
great &mdash 05/28/06 - 03:19:14 PM
so i think you two make a great team. the guitar work he lays down fits perfectly with your style of composing. it does have a bit of pinkfloyd, but it's more then that, it's something it's own. im amazed at your production skills and your talent. it's really shining from what i've been hearing recently and hope you just keep working. are you two thinking of making an entire album together? that's quite a lot of guitar &mdash 05/29/06 - 10:23:26 AM

sound track &mdash 05/29/06 - 05:00:04 PM
A soundtrack for a really, really good movie set in the future. Hard
bodied women range the Zephyrus star field, looking for soft-lobed
men with whom to wrangle. This song has a neat whooshing feel. Very
strong and definitive. Yes, a definitive edge. [ Reply to This ]
a whole new song! &mdash 05/29/06 - 08:48:10 PM
I did like the original, but Ziti adds a whole other dimension. Love the choice of percussion samples and the flow of the whole piece is suspenseful and creative. Thought for a moment that it would be nice to have a part to let the mix shine without guitar solo, but then again, Ziti's playing is awesome. You guys really work well together. Congrats to another great collab! [ Reply to This ]
yep &mdash 05/30/06 - 10:18:03 AM
this is really good stuff....did the vibe that this has and I relly like the
groove that kicks in....has the classic Ziti satch-like tone....very nice....I
dig the percussion sounds that drop in and lays down nicely for Ziti's
stellar fretwork....glad I took the time to listen....fantastic Ein.... [ Reply to This ]
Sweet exotic danger... &mdash 05/30/06 - 12:04:24 PM
Neither of those words belong together, but the two of you do - I'd say
that you went to the right place, E - I'd even go as far to say that you
went over the top - I love how Z progressed into what is to be, and
before you had laid hints of it E. The two of you make a wonderful
connection - I had the phones on and cranked - Maybe too loud, but it
hurt so good - *SMILE* - The sweetness of some troubles... Thanks
