wow
this was unexpected... I sort of thought I was getting a blues... LOL

This is so cool. The heavy guitar stuff is played like you've done this style a lifetime. What fast fingers you have. I bet they where smoking after this session.

I bow in awe master.

Oh, yeah and the drums is cool and energic like supposed to. Marvellous production and performance!
I'm stunned. You get top scores from me, and I'll rush to get a copy:)

I like it
I am the ultimate closet air Gtr player. Truly it sounds like you've all
been sequestered for a year, polishing every note. the solos! they
frightened the neighbors cat :-) just a really cool rock riffin song,
excellently played, and mixed. The solos! was that a little trading riff
thing happening at the end? You and Z293 are too much. And the
drums are right up front, solid, thumpin, very cool.
Would love to know how Marc recorded them with such clarity.

Methyolate, mercurochrome, iodine...
This thing burns. Great sound. I like the change to 3, and then back to 4.

Man, you bring some great music to this site, Mr. Mcboy. And Mr. Z can
play his face off, too. And Marc put down a great drum track.

Thanks, guys. Wow.

I'm with you on this one, ziti. Not really usually my kind of thing, either.
However, I can certainly appreciate the craftsmanship at work. This piece is
really tight and positively smokes. Hugely impressive.

oh so very Satriani & Vai....
down to the guitar licks and effects...now, you just need a little Malmsteen to round out my favorite G3 trio...in some parts, the guitar recording sounds like it's far away as in a live performance recording....awesome energy nonetheless...what time is it? time for some Satch Boogie!!....booya.............

Grandmotherly ;-)
Well, that was nice......

OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING! I'm starting to join the growing number
of your groupies, McBoy who suspect that, like Shakespeare, you are a
committee rather than one man, because you're just so great and such
a wonder at jumping from one style to the next.

This is the kind of song that makes me glad I've kept my hair long so I
can throw it around while I'm banging my head and playing air guitar.

Sorry. Had to stop typing for a minute to play along...

This is relentless, great guitar work by both of you and the drums are
just gut poundingly great, Marc.

The only thing I'm not sure about is the random vocal. I think I'd either
like to hear vocals here and there in the song or not at all, but that's
definitely not a matter of taste.

stolen Lisas' air guitar......

Man, what a BLAST!
Z293. So good to hear you play again...WOOOT!
McBoy... you awesome beast of a musician...
Marc, Outstanding drumming...

I can see you all on stage Live and ROCKING.........
Incredible pace, not letting up for one second... I love it!
As always top production, and damn, this makes me want to play Rock

Along For The Ride
Just wanted to stop by and thank Mcboy again and hope he doesn't
mind me telling my side of this collab. Mcboy sent me a MP3 copy of
this song that I added my parts to, so this version has gone through a
couple conversions to get what you are hearing on this version, I'm not
sure how much quality is lost in the conversion process but that's just
a testimonial to the quality of production he gets. This song has a
relentless pace and when I first heard it I had no idea how I was going
to play something that wouldn't ruin this piece and that's the greatness
of these collabs for me, they make you step up and play better than
you think you can.

A very sweet campfire song...
I sort of have this vision, right, of you guys sitting around the
campfire, lookin' up at the moon, swappin' stories of big hair you have
known...headbangin' over your s'mores... letting the gentle breezes of
summer bring forth this kind of totally organic musical vibe...

McBoy! Get yer artwork on your mp3's! When I download music of this
quality for free with practically no effort, I expect a certain degree of
SERVICE! And don't get me started about the lyrics... You think I want
to TRANSCRIBE them?!?

I would also like to remind everyone that I AM THE GUY WHO
DISCOVERED THAT MCBOY IS A COMMITTEE/COLLECTIVE AND IT IS
NOT A JOKE. Let them take over all shredding duties like dutiful sheep,
and the next minute they privatize your Social Security... You watch.
See if I'm wrong.

Oh yeah. And one of the demi-semi-hemi-quavers slipped off time.
Ruined the piece for me.

you rawk!

this is great-is it cliche to say it rawks!!? i'll skip the satriani
comparisons and say you've got a sound all yer own-my only complaint
is the snare-hard to get drums that sit right w/ lots of gtrs i know-and
i'm no expert, but it still rocks mightily-good 'un!

Wow-o Wowie
As Christopher Walken might say. Excellent production and great
playing.

In my mind this kind of music can get boring real quick, but not with
this one. You did a real good job of developing different leads over
your main riff. Beethoven would have been proud.

Peaceful
It's very pleasant -- reminds me of "Peaceful, Easy Feeling" by the Eagles, I guess because the lyrics are virtually identical. There's also a Joan Baez/Bob Dylan/Roger Whitaker vibe happening, so I gave it all tens.
