Description:
A little different from the other stuff....It's got a bit of a dismal swing....This has my friend Michael Saul from California handling organ duties on his Triton and it's also got some fine rhythm and lead work from Ratcliffe. I'm taking care of drums, bass, rhythm guitar, vocals and the little lead bit at the end.... now kneel before Ratcliffes Holy Grail reverb pedal....it's so nice

Lyrics:
night after night
day after day
am I really here
or am I away??

don't understand
how this could be so easy for you
anything you like is what I'll do

won't you save me from
save me from myself

has this been good for you??
cause it's been the worst for me
how many ways can you make a man bleed??

won't you save me from
save me from myself

I won't back down like that anymore
I won't pretend like that anymore
I won't play deaf like that anymore
I won't play dead anymore

won't you save me from
save me from myself

Good one yet again ... &mdash 05/30/06 - 12:34:02 PM

I'm getting tired of saying that spring ...:o)

.. sounds quite Pink Floyd-esque in places to me - "Wish You Were
Here" album in particular - with that mix of the beat and stabby
rhythm guitar the bendy reverb guitar bits .. and then it heavies up ..
and your excellent vocals lend another twist to the overall sound ..
all in all, you blend in some different styles/sound and influences in
this one very well- which I liked.

I was wondering - you've been here 6 months or so now? But you have
no fav songs or artists at all, haven't you found anything here you like?

8 9 7 8 from me.

Shades of Radiohead, yet firmly stands on it's own. Love the creamy
guitar and the------ hell, it's all great. Nice work!

I fully agree... &mdash 05/30/06 - 02:21:55 PM
...with apb (hey that rimes!): Pink Floyd indeed. Very neat chord progression. I'm so astonished about the fact that you played most of the instruments yourself. Wow, I wish I had that talent. And certainly kneeled for Ratcliffes Holy Grail reverb. Works for me, marvelously (hey, that rimes again!).

Good for you was good for me. &mdash 05/30/06 - 03:21:01 PM
Hey man. Rock on. I totally agree with the Floydian connections people are making here. "Shine On" meets "Eclipse." And to think that all that crispy goodness is being funneled through the eighth-inch input on your emac.

Again, one of the better songs on this site. Your posts seem to be all very
good and professional sounding. Good job.

Floyd Meets Binaural &mdash 06/13/06 - 10:02:22 AM
This song is very floyd-ish, sounds really really nice, the chords and dark feel of it reminds me of a song called "Nothing As It Seems" from Pearl Jam's Binaural album. The solo on this and when it lifts up a third of the way took my breath away.

p.s, you rock.
