Description:
well, i never have done a remake of one of my songs, but when i recorded this 6 years ago, i told the engineer that i was going to do that song over if i ever had the chance. The original version of this song is on my disheveled-non sequitur album and was really an after-thought, a filler really. Well the time has come to re-record "simple songs" .
 
This was also a good chance to try out my new acoustic guitar (martin d-15). i fell in love with the sound of this guitar when i heard henry harrington's songs. Henry was extremely gracious in helping me find the right guitar. He also gave me some great microphone advise.
 
lastly, i would like to thank rosie, for giving me the courage to follow my heart.

Lyrics:
some times simples songs are better
to let you know what's in our heart
i tried to write it in a letter
i didn't know where to start

the meaning gets lost in the words
a simple song is what i need

Another good one. Well written, played, recorded and produced.
