Description
First song done entirely without the use of GarageBand. I'll be using Digital Performer from now on. 48k/24bit and all. Way more flexibility!
Originally called "Desert Rose" but, I liked the name Amanda better. The song isn't about anybody in particular. Just happened to pull a name outta the air.
That's my niece in the photo. Her name is not Amanda.
There's another version on the site that Fran Dagostino (ziti) provides guitar work for but, the more I listen to this version, the more I likey.

Amanda Rose
Dave Placko © 2001
She's Amanda Rose, my light at night
She's my inspiration. I think she's outta sight
Amanda Rose! Ah, don't you go
I want you here right by my side
To be with me 'till the day I die. Amanda Rose
The first time I saw her she had on that dress
The one that made me blow my top. I fell apart, I must confess
Amanda Rose. Ah, don't you know
I think she put a spell on me
Ran my heart right up a tree. Amanda Rose
Now, if you ever leave be, babe, I don't know what I'll do
I might just crawl inside a cave to be alone with The Blues
Amanda Rose. Ah, I sure love you! Yes I do
You are to me my daily breath
Without you life would just be death. Amanda Rose

both versions. This one is in a different key I believe. Thought your guitar playing was very good.
