cool jams &mdash 06/08/06 - 10:19:36 PM
the bass drum boomed too much in my system, good composition, I could hear you putting a sample of a cat's meow with the other sounding female vocal

Hold on while I count this &mdash 06/27/06 - 08:58:24 AM
This is weird shit. I had to count it out loud to convince myself that it was
actually 4/4 time. That's a pretty creative beat.

I liked the rest of this track too. Distorted drums don't bother me, and I
enjoyed the various other sounds. Are you vocoding that vocal? Auto-
tuning?

I'm not sure what I think of the alternation between really busy and really
quiet parts. It's a bit very sudden, as is the end.

Out of my comfort zone &mdash 07/04/06 - 05:05:09 PM
I don't really listen to much breakbeat and therefore don't really know
anything about it so I'm not gonna vote on this one, for I wouldn't really
know what to compare it to.
I did like that beat, though. Like VicDiesel said, it didn't really sound like
4/4. Very cool.
The production in this sounded pretty cool, as well.
Nice job!

Great &mdash 07/07/06 - 08:14:21 AM
Great mix of sounds and textures. Nice use of negative space. The beat
is wicked. Great track!

outside the norm &mdash 07/11/06 - 04:55:07 PM
of what I usually listen to. I really like that oboe-like melody. Personally,
I'm unsure of the constant distorted beat. There is a part of me that feels
that it would have been beneficial to work up to that level of sonic
intensity. Still, an overall strong track.

Reed? &mdash 07/13/06 - 06:56:00 AM
That instrument sounds like a cross between reed and human voice (female) - cool effect. It's good, but hard for me to comment otherwise - not my realm of music.

Thanks for the link! - Harold

Very Nice &mdash 07/16/06 - 04:09:21 PM
Awesome piece--very trippy. Never been a fan of the genre, but I can
recognize the artistry here. Well done.

Very creative &mdash 08/18/06 - 05:26:02 PM
craft, this is a great effort. I'm not very good at this production stuff, but
I thought it could use a little stripping down. I found it a little to 'busy.'
Still, dude, you rock. I've heard pro stuff that wasn't this good....

thoughts from the bull... &mdash 06/11/07 - 04:51:39 PM
this is a bit heavy for my usual taste, but the breaks make for a nice departure and return throughout the song.

no one likes to have their music called "background music," but that's the only way to truly hear this kind of music unless you're able to put it over a dancefloor with 20-30 people around you.

it's perfect for listening to while working or being occupied because it can flow around the listener without ever getting to be too much. i think if i were to sit down and "listen" to this, i might not be able to soak it up the same way as if i were to approach it with a more atmospheric ear.

i hope that made sense! thanks for more terrific music!
