all (25)we (20)ever (2)need (15)spring (79)clock (68)wonder (70)this (26)mystery (16)of (71)love (983)
Description:
the things we need are really quite simple....aren't they??

Lyrics:
consecrate the fantasy
supernova network
unspoiled epiphany
connection pulling upward
concede admission
we've poorly spoken
unbuild the libraries
all books are broken

sear your image, down into the dirt

I wanna be good company
see everything as sacred
genesis eliptical
bare your marks unscripted
shed the drama
connected lifting bodies
branching from the center
every face is family

sear your image down into the dirt
no layers left to peel

I want to talk to God
with nothing in between us
this mystery of love
is all we ever needed

the hierarchy fades away
all who breathe are equal
glory in the fraility
deconstruct the steeples
never set the standard
fittest theory implosion
witness what the meek can do
higher truth exposure

I want to talk to God
with nothing in between us
we can all talk to God
with nothing in between us
this mystery of love
is all we ever needed

Like the best of Peter Gabriel &mdash 06/14/06 - 12:53:06 PM
Totally cool sentiment and execution, wonderfully pro sounding, artfully
done and cleverly conceived. Reminds me of my favorite Peter Gabriel
(the words "dirt" and "Genesis" didn't hurt in making my mind go there,
either), in all the best ways. Driving, hip, seductive, edgy, world, simple
and complex at once, thought-provoking. Excellent.

Enjoyed it &mdash 06/15/06 - 10:52:59 AM
A very good production. Your mix is always well done and very
professional sounding. This is different from many of the other ones you
have done that I have heard. I always enjoy your music, it sounds very
good.

emo? &mdash 06/15/06 - 03:54:11 PM
this is really not emo. i don't understand why not... but i like it anyway.

cool sounds - i found myself trying to play along because i had my guitar
in hand. but i just made it bad.

as stated, brilliant production. very dark song. i dig it. i'm a little silly
right now, otherwise i might have more weighty words to offer. sorry!

You guys ARE good alright... &mdash 06/16/06 - 03:07:53 PM
Amazing, covering more than just one genre brilliantly, this was quite a surprise. I expected a completely different song when I read the beautiful and inspiring lyrics. Great interpretations though! Wonder how you started the process on this song, as there are so many layers to it, both accoustic and electronic. Remarkable! And I'm happy to agree with Tobin, your music definitely compares to big names like Peter Gabriel and Genesis, it's not like they started out being famous. It's their creativity, talent and persistence that made them so well-known, all of which you seem to have a lot of too. But who am I to tell you this! Dowloaded and Fav'd. Thanks for sharing.

Alas... &mdash 06/16/06 - 04:20:45 PM
...at least I made the connection even if I am 3 days late. I'm sitting hear
thinking Pink Floyd (The Wall) meets Peter Gabriel, and naturally it's
already been pointed out. Out of the ordinary tune that works really well.
I think you boys are on to something here.

fractured pieces of greatness &mdash 06/20/06 - 01:36:07 PM
ladies and gents, please extinguish youyr smoking materials, we are
headed into the interzone..

Freaky, trippily brilliant, with a great sluggish chorus.

does God want to talk to you?

Peter Gabriel, yes &mdash 06/27/06 - 05:41:56 PM
This did remind me a bit of Peter Gabriel, especially Signal to Noise.
The only thing I thought while listening to this (besides "Ooh, this kinda
reminds me of Peter Gabriel!", obviously) was that the snare drum -
especially in the very end - could've been a bit boomies, if you know what
I mean.
But then again - that's just my opinion :)

A very good track, nontheless and a definate fav.
