Description:
pop rock

Lyrics:
MEANT TO BE

1st Verse

I’d drive across the universe and back Just to see you smile nothings far away
With you there I’d never had to ask
If it’s meant to be then freedom will
Belong to us and everything is right Pre-chorus you’re all I ever need in my life

Chorus

Everybody else could never see
How everything fits when you’re with me
It’s meant to be its all that matters
Meant to be, its all that matters
We are meant to be, meant to be

2nd Verse

Here with you in my arms again
I called you on the phone Sounds like things could change
Stay together until the end
Its only you and me
Nothing can change the world we have
It’s something we believe

Pre-chorus -1X
Chorus-1X

Bridge

See you on the other side I’m leaving
And you’re leaving too
See you on the other side I will
And I’ll find you
Once you’re on the other side I know
You’ll find me this dream is my destiny

Pre-chorus -1X
Chorus-1X
Modulation
vamp out
We both know it was meant to happen
Its all that matters

well done &mdash 06/15/06 - 07:49:58 AM
first rate teenie bopper pop-rock anthem - well written - nice
production - worthy of a wider audience.

solid song &mdash 06/15/06 - 01:59:06 PM
A very pleasing tune with a chorus that is simply awesome. Great songwriting going on here. A track with a rather classic structure - I almost said 'predictable', but I won't be that noughty - which stands out as a real exemple in its genre.

My only point of criticism: put the voice a bit more on the forefront. It seems to be overwhelmed by the guitar(s) as it is now.

Very enjoyable track nevertheless.

Really good &mdash 06/16/06 - 09:49:38 AM
Really good. Very much sounds like the genre it is supposed to be, which
seems to be difficult for some others. Easy listen also, nothing
uncomfortable or bad sticking out. A really good job. The vocals get
covered by the music in some places, like the bridge when the guitars get
louder, but it is really good other than that.

mix tons of talent with... &mdash 06/16/06 - 01:57:58 PM
...musicians who have the technical skills as well and you've got a good rock band. To start out with the good (and there is a lot of that!), the songwriting is solid and transparent, the hook is really well done and the timing of the vocals, guitars, bass, drums is spot-on! Everything is so professional that I was a little bit surprised that the sound quality (and that could really just be the file format/compression) is not keeping up with the rest of this excellent performance. The voice sounds a bit distant and the instruments seem to have something like a "flanger" sound to them (without the panning that is). Needless to say, this is nothing in comparision to your outstanding performance and can easily be fixed. Imagine you make an awesome live band too. Thanks for sharing!

Great pop voice &mdash 06/18/06 - 07:26:51 AM
Solid contemporary love anthem with a great beat. Excellent vocals.
Really nice pacing. The Marshall amp distortion competes with the vocals
in a punk rock way that was irritating in my ears, but I am an old fogey
about that sort of thing when it comes to the pop-rock genre. More than
radio ready, this is better the most stuff on MTV. Well done.

A Tendency, Perhaps. &mdash 06/19/06 - 02:20:39 PM
I've listened to all three of your tracks and they are all very well-done.

But I also hear a tendency to go light on the vocals in the mix. Bring 'em
up a tad and you've got a great sound going on. ;-)

Thank you so very much for your comments. We should have the rest of the debut finished by the end of this year, I will let you know when the CD is finished. Even though some comments can be very humbling, I thank them the most for there honest words.
Thanks again.

meant to be &mdash 11/19/06 - 12:52:04 AM
i got permission to complement the artist by singing my own take, I have this song on my ipod and play it on the skytrain it makes the ride easier. i like the lyrics a lot, the energy in the song is all drama drama reminds of my ex or maybe my present. Technically the distortion which is meant to be ha ha ha is what give it punky beachy sound good work. made me bop. Kenny one day you'll hear my take of meant to be you big star

love the fade out.
