Description:
This is not exactly like Mozart's orginal, but I felt there were a lot of things he had composed in this pieces that I thought were intriguing. This is kind of a Mozart experimental :)
Hope you like it.

Thanks Heidi_E,
Ya, I have been playing fingerpicking guitar for decades. I play an acoustical
guitar I call Betsy. It's an Santa Cruz Orchestra Model / Pre War. Which means a
smaller guitar body like companies like Martin made before world war 2 I
believe.

Thanks for posting
They are Jam Pack 4 string instrumentations. I like to take the loops out of their
holder in gb2, erase the original and make more of an orginal feel.

I wonder... &mdash 06/15/06 - 10:33:32 AM
..do you do your recordings in one take, or do you jump in at places in the timeline to do another take sometimes? If you've done it in one take its very impressive and it certainly sounds like it. But anyhow you are a brilliant guitarist and you could very well step in with a classical orchestra to do the guitar part.
As I mentioned on one of your latest songs I think your recording sounds fuller in sound. Do you still record in your bathroom, or have you changed location maybe?
This piece of music was a very pleasant experience.
Thank you sharing:) [ Reply to This ]

Thanks , I record mostly in one take. There have been times were I record in
sections. But so many have been recording from start to finish in one fell swoop
and this is one of em.

No, too much of a hassle to get all the equipment in there. (the bathroom). I
think tile tools is a lot easier :)

Hi Bill, Though Mozart is not one of my favorites, you certainly are. Your
interpretation of this piece is nothing short of brilliant.
God bless,
Rick

Tremolo FTW! &mdash 06/16/06 - 11:55:17 PM
I love that you've started playing around with soundbeds for your beautiful playing. Not that it requires accompaniment, but the "experiments" are turning out so well. I've always liked this piece well enough but it's certainly a little stale, and your interpretation is a great reminder of why I liked it in the first place. I think you could even make Pachelbel's Canon sound fresh! [ Reply to This ]
You &mdash 06/17/06 - 12:08:46 PM
and Betsy make such a great team. This is really gorgeous, and I like the way you're using the strings in the back. [ Reply to This ]

Betsy is a challenge cause she likes steel strings, she doesn't go much for
nylons:) Thanks !

Oh right. I'm supposed to LISTEN... &mdash 06/21/06 - 05:03:12 PM
...before I fav' and download...Right...
Whoever knew that Mozart could be Travis picked? Who'd'a thunk it?
I'm not familiar with the original Mozart, but I don't guess that I have to
be to appreciate what you've done here, Bill. It's really neat.

Beautiful &mdash 06/30/06 - 07:03:27 AM
Mozart is a hard act to follow - but somehow you make it work!
The usual routine at my side (1. Fav 2. Download 3. Listen 4. Repeat step
3 for a number of times).
Excellent playing!
