Repeating Bass
I like Paco Bell's Cannon in D Major
. I was inspired to write one even better. But writing in cannon proved far more difficult than I thought. I couldn't even wrap my head around the definition. I settled for a repeating bass line. Paco Bell is a bastard. And he smells too.
You only touch the white keys so it makes everything easy.
Use your left hand (numbering is the same for both hands)
Thumb=1
Index Finger=2
Middle Finger=3
Ring Finger=4
Little Finger=5
Mysterious Music Symbols

c' is Middle C
c is the C below Middle C
C is the second C below Middle C
Play as slow or as fast as you like. No one cares.
Starting on C (the second C below Middle C) with your Little Finger.
C-5,
F-4,
G-3,
c-2, (this is the C below Middle C)
d-1,
B-3,
c-1,
A(1 and then add 2)(because you have to move 2 to the next note)
E-3,
F-2,
E-3,
D-4,
And right back to C-5
Repeat forever.
Use right hand to play interesting stuff that grows out of the bass note being expertly payed with your left hand.
If you have a computer you can have it play the bass line and you can go back to using both hands to play the piano or whatever it is you like to play with.
