Description
This is performed on my 1961 Gibson ES 345 that was tuned to a tuning I discovered by accident and I haven't seen anywhere else. From low to high: GGDGBD. Recorded D/I to the iMac audio input with only GB effects.

Are you tuning that low string up?
That *is* an unusual tuning. You're getting a great sound of that ES. Hm.
I'm only familiar with the 335. What's a 345?

Great instrumental tune. Actually, more a riff than a tune, but your guitar
playing totally makes it. Coolness.

Are you tuning that low string up?
Thanks, VicDiesel. Yes the Low E string is tuned up to G so you have double
Gs in unison on the bottom end giving a very full bass sound--really only
usefull in the key of G Major or for G blues. The 345 is stereo so you can
plug into two amps on stage (which I have rewired for mono because I never
use that) and the 355 is mono or stereo.

Refreshed
Very nice tune (although a middle 8 and/or key change may have
benfited the song.) Very nice playing also, but the most amazing thing
is the really fresh sound with so few tools. Quality hardware will shine
through obviously. Really refreshing.
