Sampled vocals processed way too much. It needs "More Cowbell" at the end. Do you have some of your favorite old data on 8 inch floppies stuffed in the basement? Any chance you could ever actually read that again? Something about the fragility of memory. Not sure quite what this is, but I find it rather disturbing in a way...

Heh! If anything I'd say process those vocals even more. Maybe even
cut or morph some of those sung notes into synth parts. It might be
cool to transcribe the vocal part into a synth that is run through a
vocoder AU. This is very cool when all the layers come together. Almost
hypnotic. The guitar/synth at the end is a real treat. Very unreal but
oddly authentic at the same time. Nice work! A new fav for me. [ Reply to This ]

i felt bad about quantizing my voice so much. my singing was awful that day,
and got worse with every take. but i like the idea of going all out on effecting
vocals - i'll have to try that!

It sounds like the vocals are bleeding back into the microphone, slowly
building up a feedback loop.
I really like this track. It sounds pretty good no matter what, and it's quite
creative.

i cranked up the tape loop effect 'repeat' as high as it would go. i was going
after the Pink Floyd endless echoes effect.
i'm new here, and just posted a few songs to get started. i don't usually write
anywhere near 7 songs in 7 days!!!

quite frankly, like nothing I've ever heard. This is such a cool track.
Very mesmerizing. Great job on the mix and the playing the various
instrumentation. at times this blended some of amazing sonic textures
