Description
This will probably be the last post I do before going away for a couple of months. I was very eager to get this posted before I’m leaving for the summer, going to work on an island far, far away, and then I’m going on a long holliday. I think
This song started its life in October 2005, I was working on it for a very long time, and it seemed it might be one those tunes that never came to be. In January I had a demo recorded and Bronco wanted to do some Leadguitar on it. And then Stevel joined the team with electric guitar, and finally Stevec joined with a tasty bassline . There were some timing issues with Broncos Track, so it didn’t make the cut for the final mix, but bronco was the person that inspired me to finish of this song. In the end of January I thought that some drums could be very suitable for this song, and the great drummer Mike Watkins (Kewmikva) also joined the team. Mike has had a lot to do in life and hasn’t been able to finalize the job until now, his drums really gives the song some wings! Thank you all of you for the job you have done!Acoustic guitars, vocals, backing vocals, and mixing has been done by me!

Lyrics
you were always there
you have always cared
ypu have always been there
And I have tried the same

There has been some years
Filled with bitter tears
you have been afraid
And i have been away

And I have Tried To Hide
Everytime time youve come by
And i have lived in a lie
And i have tried to hide
and i haved lived in a lie

Things are going fine
i havent crossed the line
allthough i have tried
i tried, but i failed, and thats fine

And I have Tried To Hide
Everytime time youve come by
And i have lived in a lie
And i have tried to hide
and i haved lived in a lie

And I have Tried To Hide
Everytime time youve come by
And i have lived in a lie
And i have tried to hide
and i haved lived in a lie

loved the tune
Excellent lyrics & groove. Especially liked the chorus
When you come back, have a listen to the acoustic rhythm and see if it
would benefit from a bit of reverb and perhaps a touch of chorus.

cheers dude

good
good groove and good acoustic sound....dig the vocals....they are
recorded very well and well sung....seems like a good mix of talent here
on this tune....very psychedelic late 60's pop feel which I dig...That
backing vocals really lend to that feel as well....nice work Bro!!!! Hope you
have on Fantasy Island....lol....Take Care Selters....and we'll see you back
here soon....Peace....Ian

Well played
Nice, mellow tune, the band is tight and relaxed. I hear a bit of the Beatles, Neil Young and stuff like that, nearly a "traditional" kinda tune. Nicely done!

Great Remake
Better in all ways! As you know, I wasn't very happy with my
contribution on this and encouraged you to do another version. So I
concur that I needed to be left off. I think it makes you a better artist in
the long run if you realize that everything you do is not covered with
gold and sometimes you just need to let it go! All 10's from this Texas
guy!

Bronco, you get my admiration just for being able to be selfless like that. I'm
wicked impressed.

Neat tune, selters...
It's very cool to hear MacJams multi-collaborations.

You have a nice way with a catchy melody and a catchy chorus. One
listen to most of your songs, and they lodge in the mind...Even if I can't
remember the words, I'll be humming the melody, especially the
chorus melody, while making the morning tea...

If I was looking for a place to work on improvements, I would look at
making it sound like all of the instruments were, or could have been,
playing together... using some unifying reverb in varying degrees along
with perhaps a touch of pre-delay and compression to get it sounding
more like a unified production...

But you're not going to do that, are you? No, indeed. You're going to go
off and have summer fun on an ISLAND... Well, then. You just do that.
Have a great summer, and come back with a notebook full of songs...

have a nice one..
vacation that is Magnus:)

This is a coooool band. I'm always impressed with drummers that can do their stuff on top of a pre-done recording. And this was done very well.

Cool melody, good lyrics.

I'll bet you'll drop in to some internet caf to check on us from time to time;)
