Description:
This is the second version of "System Failure"
Collaborating with Chikoppi who added the rackin' guitar solo and fixed the mixing on the track, we were able to tighten the song up and turn it into a "Tense" piece. :)

Lyrics:
This Man may or may not run
Depending on his pain
This Man’s code is full of bugs
He can’t stand the strain

This Man crashes all the time
This Man needs more RAM
This man loves a drive-by
He don’t give a damn

This Man runs outdated software
This Man can’t upgrade
This man built an email virus
This man carries AIDS

This Man beat a homosexual
This Man sat and watched
This man thinks he found his saviour
This Man’s soul is lost

This Man can’t download a thought
This Man’s heart is black
This Man conjures up another
Terrorism Act

This Man bought a a brand new Porsche
This Man keyed the hood
This Man works an all-night Diner
And jacks off in your food

This Man had his wife for dinner
And he loved the taste
This Man has corrupted Memory
It can’t be replaced

This man wants to raise your taxes
This Man loves to cheat
This Man suffered System Failure
This Man’s obsolete

This song has got DRIVE. I found myself tapping my chair
and tapping my feet! Cool, DUDES! Guitar solo RAWKS! All
those great modified sounds! Drums are awesome, too.

First time i listen to this song i had conected the
computer to my old Pioneer Amp and my new speakers.
I cranked the volume and....woooow.
And then my son ran in to the room and start to banging
his head along with me.
Realy tight and nice sound and a banging groove.
agressive ... well i realy liked it and defenatley one of my
sons favorite and a extra points for the guitar solo..;-)

This is so hot I had to sign in and add to my favorites.
Well done to the two of you.
Collaborations are getting better and better on this site
and this is definitely a major success with you both
working together. Excellent guitar and vocals.

Superb &mdash 06/24/04 - 09:58:45 AM
This really is fantastic (I am even starting to get used to
that brass sample) What really does it for me is the way
the lyrics so completely suit the song. It's like Brett Easton
Ellis meets Neal LaBute at a sci fi convention. American
Psycho meets Tron.

Just gets better the more you listen to it.

Great singing, Love the guitar solo.

Excellent collaboration! &mdash 06/24/04 - 10:53:00 AM
You and Chikoppi really tightened up this already good
song WELL; it's even better now. I **really** like Chik's
guitar work which fits your lyrics. The sentiments
expressed fit my current philosophy. You've captured the
essence of our times.

I would definitely like to hear more songs with the two of
you. Great joining of forces!

this song was amazing. it reminded me of the live cd from
ministry ("in Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up") mind
blowing stuff.

Hmmm... &mdash 07/31/04 - 06:12:07 PM
Really good arrangement...perhaps a modulation into another key for the bridge (not necessary) but overall it works well as is. The guitar mix is very thin including the the rythmic chunking. I was anticipating that sound to jump out with some bass at some point. Yeah, you need a real drummer...Or work with the drums you have by subtracting and adding elements to give it more of a live feel...Overall the mix needs more mids and bass eq. I really liked it. I'd buy it.

Almost there &mdash 10/21/06 - 05:24:21 PM
**Loved** the lyrics!! The musical style is a little too repetitive for my tastes. The only break was the guitar solo. Which was good btw. Overall though I think this song has ALOT of potential.
