I play it a bit different than John Sousa, I put quite a bit more arpeggios to give it
more of a folk acoustical flow.

Thanks Roxy, I get real turned on musically when I hear something that is very
melodic and challenging. This piece is one of the more difficult pieces I've
uploaded. But when something has a melodic catch to it, is sure makes it much
easier to have fun with.

Nice AARPeggios! &mdash 06/25/06 - 02:46:57 PM
Not bad for a seasoned tile mason. Hey, do you use fingertip picks? I'm
thinking of buying some. I'd love to see a closeup of your playing.
Great job, Bill.

I feel like I'm at a patriotic parade, and the grand marshall is Chet Atkins!

Great picking as usual. Very enjoyable, Bill.

Wow &mdash 07/08/06 - 11:02:45 AM
you can play anything on that guitar, can't you? I like good marches, and it's funny to hear the change from bombastic marching band to intimate acoustic guitar, but it really works. As always, your embellishments are everything. Great job!

On the cover of Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine.

Stop by your nearest Borders or Barnes & Knobles and pick up copy. I think you'll really like this magazine. It's all about finger picking and features players from all music genres.

This made my Macjams listening day.

Wonderful arrangement and performance, Bill.

Standard tuning on this one?
