Description:
Though I wasn't aware of it while composing this piece, I later realized that it has echoes of Henry Purcell. I've always loved his music and guess I found a way of expressing it here. This piece is the opening cut from my first album called "Lost Islands on an Imagined Sea". It was fun to create and listening to it still fills me with joy.

I particularly liked the strings in this piece.

Good energy! &mdash 06/28/06 - 09:14:38 AM
I'm always happy to come across member who put out classical music and soundtracks. Your music is really enjoyable, relaxed but quite focused. This piece has fresh energy to it and the instruments sound well together (try playing with the attack and release on the strings, may make them sound a little less synthetic), seems like you have an intuitive sense of what works. And I'm on to another one of your posts! Thanks for sharing.

I like the technical aspect of the production--your harpsichord dances
across a soft texture of strings. I just returned from Monticello, and
this brings to light much of the nobility of character that surrounds the
place.

Thanks for your kind words Rick. I do appreciate them especially for this piece
which I'm quite fond of but for some reason never generated much interest on
this site. I’m enjoying your fine work as well.
