Dude! &mdash 07/01/06 - 03:42:20 AM
Dat was good!!! You have arrived -Or maybe I'm the one who's just now getting here... Damn! - I usually don't take to scratchn', but more than just taking to it, I really liked this. Yep, the scratchn' was definitelya big appeal to me on this one - You had a solidly groovn' selection of sounds and they were put together quite nicely. Of course, I liked that drum beat or whatever it was, but what was really nice about this was how well the cadence of the singing and speaking voices synced to a nice solid rhythm. Impressive! So that makes this one my fav of yours. I think that I can safely say, that that would make this a fav of anything that I've heard w/ scratchn. one it. What is the genre of this? Very nice piece of work, sir - Thanks - for the one for the road too - Dion [ Reply to This ]
Dude! &mdash 07/01/06 - 04:18:15 AM
Wow. That means alot coming from you Dion. I really respect your talents and
it makes me feel as though I've accomplished something by getting someone
who doesn't indulge in the genre to enjoy it.
Im not sure what genre this is. There is no Turntablism section here on
macjams. I just put it where I feel it would work.
Thanks again for listening.

all that scratchin makes me itch &mdash 07/02/06 - 01:40:35 AM
your techniques are great, good production, mix and timing...thanks 4 the jam, the pic is ironic and goes very good with the music, I can imagine the doctor to the far right rapping to the klansman. [ Reply to This ]

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Yeah, that klansman is definately
malnorished in the head. A healthy dosage of cutphedominzine should clear
that all up.

Hopefully I can be this good sometime. I've been scratching roughly a year, and am nowhere near as good as this. Good work. [ Reply to This ]

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I dont think of myself as nowhere near as
good as I want to be, but its nice to have a compliment.
Can't wait to hear some of stuff you're working with.

This is some good stuff my friend but in my opinion its missing that big
beat to give it that extra funk...but.. thats just me. [ Reply to This ]
Nice!! &mdash 07/27/06 - 05:12:06 AM
I appreciate the comment. Im just getting started with the music production.
My beats are pretty simple for now. Hopefully I can improve on that as time
and practice permits.

Energetic work here! The overall structure of this could have used more development, but it kept me interested... [ Reply to This ]
dooo &mdash 08/01/06 - 07:24:54 AM
I wanted to keep it simple on this cut. Maybe more could have worked in the
jam. Myabe not. Who knows.
Thanks for the comment mr Nutz

Almost didn't see your comment. I'm glad you decided to give it a listen even though I think this song could use some major improvements (The levels and the cuts). I may revisit the song in the future. [ Reply to This ]

3 years experience on the wheels of steel certainly pays off, doesn't it?
This is some amazing scratching and vinyl work. I need to get a pair of turn tables and start some work... ;) [ Reply to This ]

One of my favorite songs. I still need to work on the levels in this one, but it was fun to make. [ Reply to This ]
