Well I was having a band rehearsal with just the keyboardist. He played a riffed we liked and I played some chords, we liked it so here it is. This is just pretty much like our rough cut of it. We also wanted to know if you think it should have vocals included with it. Sorry about the sound of the drums, we didn't have the correct mics.

P.S. I'm not one of those sucky guitarists who just strums like a few chords throughout every song. It just worked in this one, and we have others where I have the lead.

cool.
pretty cool thing to come from a jam... i'd say it could definitely use some
tightening up. cool keys, though. guitars work well with it. i'm sure this
could definitely work with vocals.

the drums actually sound kind of cool like this, really... clearly not miked
'properly', but the sounds of the overloaded mics sounds pretty sweet...
like thunder.

And So It Begins
Your MacJams experience, and this song. There's a nice melody in there
that needs to be built on. The power chords work with it. I think it would
be interesting to kick it up a notch, increase the tempo (double it ?),
syncopate that rhythm, and build a nice lead based on the melody.
Looking forward to hearing the finished product.

Thanks. I don't know about the speed and and syncopation (the keyboardist never took lessons and I don't know if he can go faster). The lead I'll try to work on but I've only been playing two years so it may be hard. I'll put up a new one in about two weeks. That should have a lead in it and vocals.
