It's too conservative, too barren; you need more than just a beat!
Speaking of which, the beat here is very regular. It sounds like club music to me; there aren't any actual breakbeats here, 'cause it's all synths and computer-generated samples. You ought to be more crazy with it- chop it up and make something less predictable.
