Description:
Ok this is the last revise, promise.

It was her longest walk, and it had just begun. And at this early hour of the morning, she was going to experience so many emotions. First the horror of what had happened days before, anguish and grief, then as she turned the corner to see the tomb, panic. Soon all that would be erased, the moment she saw him.

Rocking, epic production &mdash 07/01/06 - 12:08:23 AM
Great to revisit this song. I will have to pump this through my best floor speakers and headphones when I get back to the office. I can't discern any differences in contouring with these cheap MidiLand speakers. Good luck with the Ik review, He's a harsh critic. I sure dig the opening church bells and percussive crickets. The guitar work is powerful, scorching. There is a lot of drama here.

Comparing the two versions along with the reconturing you did gave me a
roadmap on where to land. I do need to get better refernce headphones to mix
with, but I did use your version as a final check and was content to give it to the
the Ik-ster. We'll see.

bad ass &mdash 07/01/06 - 12:10:06 AM
this music reminds me of a hero's defeat or something dramatic like that.
i like it a lot. it is really well done,
the bass line and the slow drums keep me listening for more.
like i said, this is bad ass.
good work!

Great work &mdash 07/01/06 - 03:52:14 AM
Great work. The only thing is that the sound of the guitar seems to me
something acid. Perhaps I would like warmer more if outside. However, it
is a magnificent composition and execution. Bravo

well said and done &mdash 07/01/06 - 08:09:12 AM
Nice tune-good production and creativity-better yet,excellent subject
matter-He is risen! Although this isn't the musical expression I would
get from experiencing the event-feels more B western or Bond film
type soundtrack-very well done none the less-two thumbs up!

Appreciate the comments. Thank you very much. The funny part is that if I was
a pro doing this I'd starve because it took so long to settle on a mix.

Thanks for the listen

Interesting stuff &mdash 07/06/06 - 12:07:49 AM
Like the orchestration, marching feel in parts.
Cool fuzz guitar added with the orchestration. Kinda gives a current
western feel with a Yule Brenner of today. With this music ou can let your
mind go wild in a cool rock kind of way.

Way to go

epic &mdash 07/06/06 - 07:10:28 PM
Thanks a bunch. The song was written well over 18 years ago, but with no way
to record it, until now. So I'm thimking it's just built up musical expression just
busting out.

Thanks for the listen.

dramatic and intense &mdash 08/22/06 - 09:30:20 AM
i wasn't expecting the b section but it took this to a different level i didn't
even know it needed. i like the feel of the heavy sadness in the beginning
followed by the 'renegade Jesus' riding triumphant out of the grave! great
interpretation and i love that you addressed this event through your
music. peace and blessings-this could be the musical centerpiece for a
huge Easter production!

Thanks Heather for the listen and visit. You have a keen ear for detail as your
own music reflects, so I appreciate it. I'll be awaiting your new music via the
email notification. Can't wait.
