Description
Cubase crashed several times and I had
to do things again and again (I just
save every 5 minutes).

So I worked not so hard on this song and
I think I could get much more out of it,
but I don't have the time and the necessary
pleasure :-(

For short: Everything that could destroy your
work, destroyed my work and that's why
I called the song >> Inferno

Like It
Really liked the production and layering of sounds. Nice pace and feel.
The only souund i did not care for was the snare sound( to me to thin) But
then again this genre of music is something I don't normally listen to.
Good work.

You mean this knocking snare?
You're right, I've got big problems with the snare by the Electribe...

Good Here Too
I like this. As a guitarist I tend not to go for keyboard - orientated music much, but I found this atmospheric and entertaining. The snare reminds me of Kraftwerk, in the best way.
Is Cubase as easy to use as Garageband? I'm thinking of upgrading, but it's hard to tell which software to get, and easy to make an expensive mistake.

Cubase
Thanks a lot :-)
Maybe I will finish this song, if it isn't that bad.

Cubase, hmm...
I can only tell you something about Cubase SL 3.0, which I use.
I think it's more difficult than Garageband, but you've got
also some big features, you don't have in GB. I think Logic Express
is easier to use and has a greater feeling, but Cubase also works fine...
in some ways ... sometimes... ;-) Okay, I will tell you the truth:
At the moment, I hate Cubase, but I haven't enough money to upgrade to for example Logic ... So there's only one thing to say: Try before buy!

Thin Snare :(
I like the song but I agree to one of the other posts... you have to replace
the snare sound it is horrid and way too thin. As far as not enough time to
work on it goes. You gotta make time for music if that is what you are
into... Good for the soul to make a bit of time each day for it :D

If you haven't tried GarageBand, you really ought to but I am guessing you
are on a PC or you would have used it!

Thin Snare :(
you are right concerning the snare and the time... but hey
I use a PowerMac G5... 2.3 Gig Dual ... with a good old IBM processor
doing it's job.

So I don't wanna hear one word about PC ! ;-)

killer intro....love the tones on this.....reminds me of some of Thomas
Dolbys sounds.....that's a good thing cause I'm a T.D. fan....cool feel....the
music almost feels like it has a story....I love that electro snare that snaps
into place....nice pop....cool work....Peace....Ian

snare
Try to change the snare to something harder. Allthought nice job. Dig the groove. Good production and mix.
Nice to listen...

Interesting sound structure!
Nice pace introducing the various instruments, the intensity is just enough to make you wanna hear more. The "biting" quality of the solo synth is both effective but also maybe gets a little too much after a while. It's nice how finish off the melody part with the various sound effects leading to the next segment. The choir comes in just right adding a new dimension. Overall very well done with an organic rhythm. You've got a good sense for instrumentation and moods. Towards the end it reminded me of Depeche Mode's programming style. The ending is well done too. I'm really looking forward to hearing more from you!
