under the murk... Rock! &mdash 07/03/06 - 12:47:39 PM
Under all the murky recording/mixing I heard a really cool tune trying to
break through. I think you have some really interesting and cool things
going on in there. I like the performances and the overall energy. If you
could brighten up the mix and balance it all beter I think it would help
tremendously. What it needs production-wise is surely more complex
than just that but that's the basic advice from me.

You are absolutely coreect. There is rock under there!

Thanks for the useful comments. I know I'll never get around to producing this
any better than what I can do in an afternoon, but it's great to think that
someone realizes what a rock star I am.... under the murk!

Thanks Peter

I gotta agree with peter, this is murky but definately worthy. Like the vocals... kinda lloyd Cole. A bit more spit and polish and this'll be ready to roll guys!

Lloyd Cole &mdash 01/14/07 - 12:44:05 PM
When I first read your Lloyd Cole comment, I thought, "Whaaaa???" But I just listened to it (yeah I know it's my song, but I still listened to it) and you are right. It does sound a lot like Lloyd Cole to me. I was surprised myself. Forgot about how cool LC and the Commotions was back in my day.

I don't think Lloyd would allow a production this sloppy, so I think I might actually rework this.

Thanks for the encouragement and the time it takes to comment. It's rewarding to me and I feel obligated to act on it.

but wow: Two Wowers In Two Hours (you may use that as a song title, if I
don't beat you to it :-))

I'm not sure I agree with pg, but hey, I'm not Mr Big Shot Producer,
myself.

"Two Wowers In Two Hours"

If ever there was a feathered one more clever than you,
I'd swear it was you being clever with new feathers.

One day, my friend, we will party and Macjams will pay the bill.
