Well, my own JP4 experiments are starting to improve, but I can appreciate how much time must have gone into this. It sounds great, really cinematic and dramatic and sweeping. You need to get your music into someone's movie somehow!

ok, so that one little string part sounds exactly like the one part from the matrix.. just watch it, you'll know what I'm talking about. They use it a lot, I think it's first when Morpheus shows Neo what the world actually looks like.

I can see why, with the genre and all, but it's uncanny. However, this song is real sweet.

I'm not very savvy when comes to movie sound tracks. I find this to be
very crisp sounding and I feel I'm flying a hang glider over mountains.
Nice work... I'll have to see the movie now.

Sounds good! Reminds me a bit of Elfman's score to Hulk! It's the
cascading motif I think!

Yup, I was thinking Elfman when I heard it. Now that you mention THE HULK,
that seems about right. I'm a big soundtrack fan, and this piece seems very
nicely realized. Well done.

You guys pegged it for sure. I didn't realize until afterwards, but the cascading violins sound just like the Hulk soundtrack. Oh well, I'll keep at till something original pops up. Thanks for the comments guys!

Whichever character gets this soundtrack for their first appearance should be proud of him/herself! This is fascinating, Basil. The drama of it, the arrangemet itself, the darker undertones and transitions between the themes, marvellous! There is not a single think I would change on the composition. The only thing that comes to mind is that some of the instruments (strings mostly) sound a little bit "harsh" (for lack of a better word). Maybe some reverb on the individual tracks, and minor adjustments on the attack and realease of the strings might help. But let me tell you that I was stunned when I heard this first. This is good stuff for any soundtrack, by any standard!

Thank you very much Para. I agree with the dynamics of the strings, I did rush it a little. I will be sure to smooth out the rough edges. It's almost finished so I hope to post the completed version here soon!

Colossal soundtrack. Powerful. Evocative. My tastes are pretty generic
and this fits in quite nicely. I only wish it was longer. You built up a good
tension towards the end and then,...well, er,...the END! Do you plan to
develop this further? I think you're on to something.

Classic, Basil! Powerful brass, dark, rhythmic undertones, waves of
drums and crashing cymbals, soaring strings leaping in
alarm...something dynamic, treacherous, and powerful is happening in
this piece!

There are so many talented people here at MJ that it is hard to keep
abreast of everybody. But I spotted your post about the radio station.
Hope you don't think that i am just posting cause you have a radio station
:) But I do think this piece was fun to hear.
