Description
A rock tune with a bit of a celtic feel....This has the sound of something that should be played loudly on rolling green mountains....

Yeah....let's just say it sounds green....

Lyrics
Transcend beyond the border lines
it's yours, it's mine
Grasses grow from the field for all
to hear them now

Communicate with futures past
the first to last
Pendulum swings into a void
absent is noise

Trace us all back to one small strand
One grain of sand
That you're alive is testament
You're heaven sent

Switchback
I like the switches from slow cadence to the hard crunch. Nice tune! Some space in the verses for the guitar and nice vocal - the ending is cool, too. There could be room for the whistle too.... what do you think?

Enjoyed this, thanks!

did someone say kilt .. where? ;oD

.. the celtic licks played in that slidy fashion .. excuse me using technical
terms ... remind me a bit of 'Creed' ... it's cool .. I'm glad to hear you
experimenting.

Nice drums .. could blend in a few multi-tracked bodhrán beats in there
boost that celtic feel ...

oh and bring the vocals up a smidgin'

huh
I am a sucker for backwards notes.

This reminds me of early Pink Floyd on the vocals.

The volume is a bit soft.

Not to be too critical, but this seems like the first third of a song. I
want it to beak out to something harder, then come back to more of
this. I can hear the Scottish influence, but that should be your starting
point. Rather than the fade out, I want to be taken to a brutal industrial
track, then come back to this.

A nice comforting song, but leaves me wanting (and that's a good
thing).

I agree with cjorgenson
It reminds me of early Pink Floyd...a Syd Barrett composition. I use to
ware out those old vinyl's. Really nice guitar work. Another nice one Ian.

all Kilten aside
....this is a great one. Love the droning guitars and your pace changing back and forth. Parts reminded me of the FLAVORS of the Beatles "tomorrow never knows ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrf_e6g2jxk " , but defintely had it's celtic flair.
