What a cool voice Amanda. Perfect for this kind of tune. You treat that Yamaha good Blaine. Laid back and with feeling. I like the way the guitar and the vocals seems to ''listen'' to each other to adapt in the groove.
I'd suggest tweaking the eq in the guitar a bit. It sounds a bit to full in the bass department... Might be my headphones, but an acoustic often records with a bit to much bass. I usually will have to take down the lower frequencies and raise it a bit in the middle areas to get the sound I'm after on my acoustic. It's of course depended on the mic and individual taste...

It's OK once the song gets going, but even then she needs more, about 2db; try some compression on the guitar, stop it "wandering" so much. I have to listen too hard to catch the lyric, again some compression might help. It might be great, I can't tell [ Reply to This ]
