Won't be long, honey &mdash 07/11/06 - 07:02:59 PM
A fine composition, Bill. Works for the long drive home. What is that, a
Peruvian flute I hear?
Marking you down just a bit on production because you are overdriving
your tracks. Too loud! Ease back on the gain and compression.
So, what's all the anticipation? [ Reply to This ]

I actually was going to put this other one of the same piece but the synth I felt
was too soft. So I stuck with this one.
Thanks for the input Rich

Amazing &mdash 07/11/06 - 07:04:38 PM
Amazing once again. This one feels like a bit a departure for you; maybe
it's the slide licks, or maybe it's the MIDI instrument you use to
accompany your playing; not sure. Very fine. [ Reply to This ]
Okay. What I like here... &mdash 07/11/06 - 08:46:42 PM
...is that you let the slide get bouncy and melodic, it's not yer-typical-
blues-influenced-slide thing, and for all its bounce and perkiness, it's got
great tone and intonation...
You also integrate the slide well with the more straight ahead
fingerpicking and single note lead stuff.
So. Maybe just one more download.

Presentiment. &mdash 07/12/06 - 05:13:59 AM
Your slide guitar is beautiful.
The presentiment was brought by the synthesizer.

Very nice &mdash 07/12/06 - 07:58:35 AM
Very pretty arrangement. It has a calming and ease to it that soothes my
nerves. After a long stretch of listening to music on this site that can be
compared to cat's fighting, this is a nice reprieve. :) Thanks [ Reply to This ]
Pure joy &mdash 07/12/06 - 11:17:04 AM
Sometimes, joy can be shared effortlessly. And here it is.
Only quibble from me is that the track seems left side heavy with many of the back-up instruments panned to that side. My right ear felt a little left out.
Cheers. [ Reply to This ]
Nice floating feel &mdash 07/12/06 - 07:20:41 PM
This one is definately good for those days you just want to sit back relax and think. The song has a good amount of empty space. Didn't Johnny Cash say: "the canvas of music is silence". I think this song uses silence well. This song makes me want to make sweet love. [ Reply to This ]
