Was the static intentional? No static was caused by the guitar being too loud for the mic i cud not remove the static afterwards sadly may do another take but i'm lazy. The static really annoyed me!!! Check out my latest song called How Could You Leave Me

HOT GUITAR Nice playing...you got the chops, nice tone, riffs fit nice. You've got all the elements set to go. I think a good step would be to think of the progression on your next funk tune. For example, after 16 bars of the basic progression here, You do 4 bars of a change. Alter the bass line and drum . Then go back to the original progression. It's good to think in terms of maybe three or four changes. It really heightens the interest factor. Makes for a more dynamic track. less of a jam. Think about singing as well. It doesn't matter if you have no sing experience. (I haven't checked all your tracks, maybe you sing, I don't know) But it adds much more when you think in terms of a complete song. I like your playing a lot Check out my latest song called anymore

I really like this piece but am disturbed by some static I hear especially
through the middle of the piece. Is if artifacts left by digital clipping of
a particular track or was it something in your guitar amp? I don't know
... do you know?
