shhhh &mdash 06/30/04 - 07:58:53 AM
it's a secret. I got the file, did some minor tweeking and did a mix-to disk so I
can work in a guitar solo. I was running in the red too much. My iMic has
been giving me fits lately (though I think it's the iMac, since I can plug it into
my laptop and have it work). Otherwise, would have done a track last night.

Thanks MB. it's fun to have a blues revival here. I kind of cut my teeth on
blues and it's nice to get back every once in a while.

You should check out a tele. they're great little workhorses. I love mine.
Maybe not quite as versatile as a strat, (no whammy). Glad you like this one. I
had a lot of fun w/ it.

Swings &mdash 06/30/04 - 12:58:06 PM
I like take three best, but this swings even better-- it's
just tighter. Great guitar work all-round. Vocal
performance has a lot of feeling and character.
Authenticity comes through.

Thanks, yeah it's tighter, of course it was recorded before I combined
everything in take 3 - I do like both individual additions better by themselves,
but considering that I just mixed them all together, take 3 sounds pretty
good. This is much tighter sounding w/o the bass though.

less is more &mdash 07/02/04 - 10:52:37 AM
I like this version very much; the reduced guitar tracks
combine more neatly. You did a great job inter-weaving
your guitar with gud's original track; it ADDS to the whole
rather than complicates it as the larger expanded version
does a bit, in my opinion at least.
VERY nice job! [ Reply to This ]
I like the guitar and voice &mdash 01/26/05 - 10:48:13 AM
The vocal quality seems like very original bluesters.
Guitar work has got a lot of soul. Nice to hear the blues
with out too much loud rock.
