sounds like you are playing "behind" the beat a bit. While it's interesting, I think it needs a little more direction. The changes are incremental and therefore there is a lot of repetition in the song. I guess vocals would make it less so, but I think you should at least throw in a guitar or bass solo to break things up and change the arrangement. The major break/change in the song doesn't come until almost the very end. I think it would be more effective if you used it earlier in the song.

Some good things going on here, but I'd like to hear more.

Some interesting things going on here but the execution does not
sound as polished as I would expect from someone with a backgound
as deep as yours. Hope you take this in the spirit in which it was
offered ... as a friendly suggestion. :-)

Hello all! &mdash 07/26/06 - 12:41:25 AM
thanx for all the comments and suggestions so far. This and my other
tracks posted here are all works-in-progress, sketches for a potential
cd by the end of this year. This particular track has three seperate
parts. I wanted to give the first part air to breathe, let the riffs shift
slightly here and there. The second part has a lot of interesting stereo
interplay, and the final is meant to come out of nowhere, just as
sudden as the extinction of the "lizards" the song is a tribute to.
