what great funky quality to it. The sax really adds a lot to the mix. I
can't help but feel that Mike writes songs tailored made for your bass
playing. The break section about 2/3 rd's the way thru is monster
good. My jaw is on the ground. Simply incredible.

Mike and I started playing music together 21 yrs. ago. We found an old Fender
Strat and a Fender P-bass in his parents house when we were kids. He comes
from a very talented family. His dad played guitar and sang back in the day. His
brother also plays guitar and sings solo gigs locally. Mike totally knows the way I
play bass as I do his guitar playing. His a very gifted Musician and a great friend.
He's helped me a lot with my bass playing by coming up with challenging pieces
through the years. We are influence by a great deal of music and musicians. We
soak it all up. Were Two Big Sponges :-}

I have to agree. The song is nice within itself but the sax is what takes the cake

Love the Chili Peppers sound. Excellent melding of rock, funk and jazz.
Totally hip performance. The recording is a bit distant, especially the
drums (I really wanted the snare to be more forward, to drive more). You
guys are a great band. Love the track. Consider posting lyrics, please.

Drums very well recorded. Bass and guits outstanding. Love the sax!
Vocals remind me of lots of my favs (mostly bass players strangely).
Love it!! Break has a Traffic feel.
