Description:
Some boys will do anything for love. But is Simon that bad a radio broadcaster?
Stu Black played bass

Lyrics:
Bring Me the Head of Simon Mayo

I said I'd do anything for you

She said would you really

For I have a plan in mind

That mind save the whole of mankind

There's no room for god in rock and roll

Nor Jesus Christ no not at all

If I could take you there

You could creep inside

And Bring Me the Head of Simon Mayo

I'd put it in a jar and keep it next to my stereo

Bring Me the Head of Simon Mayo

Before I smash up my radio

She bought a record just the other day

When she played backwards Here's the words she heard it say

Ok. &mdash 07/01/04 - 06:53:42 PM
Not sure who Simon Mayo is, so I won't comment on the
lyrics. The sound is kinda thin, and the progression is
generic. Makes me wish I knew something about Simon
Mayo.

Don't get me wrong, I think you did a good job putting it
all together, chap.

I know who Simon Mayo is &mdash 07/01/04 - 08:20:45 PM
excrutiating UK DJ. I'm British BTW. Probably a lot of
people would agree with this although the list is probably
quite a long one of people you could substitute (Richard
Allison come to mind).

You name reminds me of an old western I saw where the
hero is captured by mexicans. At one point he is in a cell
and tries to get the attention of the gaoler with a big
sombrero who says. "Waddya want PEEG?". Of is it just an
acronym....I must say I'm curious...

Bouncy.

Booster &mdash 07/06/04 - 08:37:38 AM
Yes, the level could use some compression and boosting.
But the song is a very strong pop tune. The lyrics are
great fun. And your singing is perfect for this sort of
song, but could also use more punch, perhaps
compression in the lower bands to make it less airy. But a
really strong track. I'm a booster.

Good Stuff &mdash 07/07/04 - 09:35:01 PM
I really enjoyed this alot. A very strong effort though I do
agree that it's missing something in the lower end. Maybe
just adjust the eq and boost the overall levels. Otherwise a
GREAT job!

Thanks for the comments &mdash 07/13/04 - 02:52:09 PM
Fair doos the mix is a bit thin. I'll have a look when I've
finished the new songs I'm working on. Tobin, as usual
you are extremely kind in your comments, thanks once
again. Ringo, Peeg is a nick name, old story very dull=).
Again thanks to all of you for your kind words.

Cheers Paul
