Good Stuff Minor ... really minor suggestions. Bring the key change in earlier after the bridge. Maybe ... just maybe a build in the drum track at about the same place. Other than that I think it is really cool with good choice of "voices" Check out my latest song called It Was a Dark and Stormy Night

Achilles sux! Hektor owns! I agree completely. This was a pretty neat track dude. A classical melody layered over a dance beat. Very cool. As for feedback, maybe you could spruce it up a bit by adding some more accents and sounds to augment the piece. Other than that I think you're good to go, thanks for sharing this! B. Nice 8-bit theater Sounds like the epic Greek battle bottled up in a video game... you definitely get the adrenaline pumping with the fast beat. Not sure if the piano fit in there with the other synthy instruments, though, unless that was the classy Hector against the blippy Achilles. And I agree, Achilles was a wuss :-) Fun melody and counterpoint, nice! ttfn, Drakonis Check out my latest song called Lullaby for the Inner Child

Nice 8-bit theater the piano doesnt represent hector but rather just a building momentum in the battle. also it is a break and a softer timbre. Check out my latest song called Distant Dubs

titanic duel... I dig the manic vibrancy of this song, it has the energetic feel of a battle, except that i wished there were stronger percussions here, like big drums or gongs or something grand and booming to accentuate the epic drama of a titanic battle. The piano playing is awesome, though! The thin synthesized sound can be replaced with something more full-sounding, or maybe just add on top of that. Will you remix this with the above suggested percussions? I bet you it will sound huge! A great soundbed layer has been laid, you just need to embellish it to add drama! What a Frenzy ! had my head bopping all over the place .. felt like I was trapped in a giant gameboy console and someone else had the controls .... kewl tune ... I'll let my 11 year old son listen to it .. see what he thinks .... the concensus is in .. he says its KEWL ... he said it sounds like a "stealthy shooting game like Minority Report - it's a cop game - where the cop gets framed for armed robbery or the murder of somebody or something - kind of like a good cop / bad cop type of game" ... his words exactly. Never liked Achilles myself. There can't be much techno out there based on Greek myths. Actually I'm curious whether you started with this title and then wrote the piece, or the other way around. Either way I enjoyed it a lot. You have a good sense of when to finish up a section and move on before it becomes repetitive, so the piece stays fresh all the way through. There's a tenseness to your piece that suggests a battle is taking place.
There's a lot to like in this pieces. I like how you start off with the slow-paced (but relentless) deep synth and then jump-start things by doubling the tempo of the higher-pitched synth. The piano is a nice shift, and it adds a dimensional sense of complexity. At the end, when you think perhaps you've heard it all, the groove kicks into a higher gear yet - a nice ending to a taut production.
