Description:
I like The Deftones....but I'm also a huge Thomas Dolby fan....this is what happens when galaxies collide....maybe....

Lyrics:
prime the circuits don't be shy
let it stream in
you never know what will come to you
when kept in tune

on a constant dare
they're waiting for you
when we're unaware
they're waiting for you
this war is unfair

when is it good enough??
this proliferation
what are the magick words??
nothing is all they bring

on a constant dare
they're waiting for you
when we're unaware
they're waiting for you
this war is unfair

how do I translate??
when the meaning is all lost on me

on a constant dare
they're waiting for you
when we're unaware
they're waiting for you
this war is unfair

Good job &mdash 07/23/06 - 07:00:04 PM
This is a great sounding tune. A couple observations though. 1st, your
voice seems mixed way to far back. It's a solid take, turn it up please.
Also, the mechanical drums take away from an otherwise very fluid song.
This tune definately has a heart of rock, but the way the themes shift and
change is almost jazz-like. Nice, progressive music.

You're still kickin' it! &mdash 07/24/06 - 02:45:07 PM
Very cool writing, as always - both musical and lyrical.
The only thing I'm not sure about are the electronic drums. I just think
this would've sounded better with some real, hardcore stuff.
Anyway - you know how to write a cool rock track!

Rock on!

Cool &mdash 07/26/06 - 07:45:06 PM
Always nice to hear different kind of rock in here. Everything great. I Just
think the drums could improve. This song deserves better drums.
But everything else is perfect. Good job. I'll buy your CD for sure if you
have one :)

snap crackle pop &mdash 07/27/06 - 12:23:34 PM
it's already been said, but i agree that the weak drum track takes away from an otherwise solid rock song. if you want the electronic percusssion, maybe use a harder, heavier drum kit, and/or sequence it to be a little more industrial sounding, rather than retro synthpop.

also, i think it would be cool if you added a bit of a strobe effect to the vox on the repeat of the chorus toward the end of the song.
