This song is being sung by my wife June. She wrote and composed this song around 1973. All though this song was written over thirty years ago, this is the first time she has actually allowed herself to be recorded singing it. She enjoys writing poems and lyrics.

Your wife has a lovely voice, and her sense of pitch and rhythm is
excellent.

Of course the song is country, but we'll overlook that :-)

No seriously, the song is very nice too.

What's keeping you from puttting some backing behind this and turning it
into a grammy-winning song?

June you sang this brilliant. I love the lyrics too.
my twin sister is called June as well :)
Anyhow you should have no problem getting someone to collab with you on this seriousely. I am not very good at mixing just yet. But I will download it and see what I can do. But I don't hold out any promises

But will try to have ago. That's about all I can say ok.
