Description:
This song is being sung by my wife June. She wrote and composed this song around 1973. All though this song was written over thirty years ago, this is the first time she has actually allowed herself to be recorded singing it. She enjoys writing poems and lyrics.Lyrics:
Maybe If Your luckyHey baby what you gonna do now I've left you What you gonna do now I'm gone Well maybe if your lucky, I'll come back tomorrow Or maybe this is really so long You put all your eggs in one basket You thought that you came on really strong Now maybe if your lucky, I'll come back tomorrow Or maybe this is really so long. You put all your hopes, in the fact that I adored you You built your world of dreams around me Never did you ask me, if I had dreams for building Or horizons that I wanted to see Now see if you can make it without me Cause your gonna have to make it alone Or maybe if your lucky, I'll come back tomorrow Or maybe this is really so long. Today your gonna wake up, and find that you are lonely That all dreams are shattered and gone Then your gonna know that you really really need me And without me you just can't go on Then you'll wish that I hadn't left you You won't know what to do now I've gone And baby if your lucky, I'll come back tomorrow Or maybe this is really so long Baby if your lucky, I'll come back tomorrow Or maybe this is really so long |

excellent.
Of course the song is country, but we'll overlook that :-)
No seriously, the song is very nice too.
What's keeping you from puttting some backing behind this and turning it
into a grammy-winning song?
