Description:
well......this is the most straight forward DnB/jungle/breakcore track i've done in a while. glitchy, glitch fast and twitchy.......... hope you all enjoy.......

well done &mdash 07/29/06 - 08:53:07 AM
and nicely produced, but I had a hard time getting into this one.
It could make for some cool soundtrack material.

cool man. yeah, i know this glitchcore isn't for everyone. and i appreciate your honesty. i just love freneticism - i think it's been the relentless absorbing, performing and integrating roots and classical music all my llife..... i need a break away. from sanity to insanity........ chaos is soooo underrated.

I agree. It's good to mix it up with some other fun styles.
I'll listen to this a few times around my house today and get a better feel for it.
I've noticed that with your music, it takes me about 5 listens to really get a feel
for it. You have so many underlaying layers to account for.
It's an art.

Be sure I enjoyed &mdash 07/29/06 - 10:02:27 AM
One of the most crazy tunes I've ever heard! I really really dig this a lot. Music that needs to be listend to with a very high level of concentration. Exhausing somehow, but satisfying in the end. Like great sex (haha). Might sound chaotic at first listen, the more I played it, the more I discovered and appreciated its complex but beautiful structure. Very well done, boy!

How dare you do so many quality tracks so quickly! &mdash 07/29/06 - 07:16:39 PM
Quality again. EE's right in this being perfect for soundtrack material...
I can particulary see the introduction accompianing some sort of
matrix-esque or similarily frenetic and un-connected image
sequence... but at the same time I can enjoy this piece on its own...
particulary when it arrives at the more 'consistant' (I use that term
lightly with you) drum track. Particular points... well I'm beginning to
notice when you quote yourself for starters... and that ludicrously long
vocal sample from "light the fire to heal the alieN" was cool/hilarious...
reminded me of the first time I heard Maynard's 30 second long scream
on "The Grudge" all those years ago. I also appreciate how it changes
timbre and pitch throughout... as in you've stretched through some
meathod as opposed to looping it or something (Like in that "I have to
praise you like I should" song from some other band).

On a side note... Chaos is underrated! Though I'm more of a fan of
organised choas (pssst... If you havn't noticed I try to avoid doing too
much in 4/4 ;) )... though possibly for similar reasons by the looks of
it. I still wish you'd let us in a little more on where you're comming
from Shawn.

Anyway... enjoyed this one too... and there's no real surprise there.
Nicely done!

Wow. &mdash 07/29/06 - 11:36:17 PM
I've been playing around with this style lately and I'm gaining an
appreciation for how difficult it is to to create impactful content,
control the mix, and yet convey a sense of hectic chaos. I don't even
want to think about how much time went into this.

You have some really terrific instances of sonic manipulation in here.
The breaks are furious and creative. I love how you control the
evolution of the beat from beginning to end. The "story" is cohesive as
well. With so many sounds and breaks it might have been easy to lose
track of a destination, but I never felt like the driver had lost control of
the wheel.

Great work!

ahhh, yes... &mdash 07/30/06 - 09:29:24 PM
...brings back memories of when I was in Chicago taking the El to work listening to Hard Normal Daddy on the headphones... I think it was Chin Hippy? Anyway it was a lot like this one...

Chaos can be a beautiful thing, yes.
