Description
Well, Alimar's departure inspired me to write a song. If you're out there, Alimar, I hope you hear it. :) Good luck and we will miss you.

Lyrics
When your life takes a sharp turn,
Perhaps, it's time to get away,
But you have friends who'll stand here waiting
Hoping you'll return someday
You put a smile on every one of us
The time we had was gladly served
And we'll be here if you need us
Praying upon your return
And now, it's time to say "farewell"
We wish you the best for yourself
Maybe someday, you'll rejoin us
Only time will tell
We Will Miss You

I'm here
Thank you from my heart of hearts. I'll be back in due
time. You folks are my second family. I love you all.

Holds lighter in the air
and sways from side to side. Reminded me certain tracks
off "The Wall" by Pink Floyd and a bit of Foreigner too.

Yet another new vocal style breezed through. What next,
Patagonian throat singing..? Damn good stuff.

Impressive also for the time it took to do.

I won't vote, just agree with you.

perfect
This song was truly inspired. Your emotions come through
loud and clear. It is a very heartfelt song.

Thank you for expressing what many of us on MacJams
feel about Alimar. It helps release the sadness, and helps
create a balance.

Aside from that, this is a very good song in its own right.
I like your vocals very much, along with the
accompaniment.

He Aint Heavy, He's My Brother
You've done a wonderful thing here. Al lives for his family,
and for his music. One just got in the way of the other. He
will be back, or I'll break his fingers! Thanks for this song.

I'm Al's big brother, Andy

APPLAUSE!
This sounds so much like a song by Journey or Foreigner; an early '80s style. A fantastic job; professional-sounding. Thank you for creating it!

Hm...
It's a classic already. Very typical melody and arrangement
for ballads, so I give this a rating above average. But aside
of its inspiration, I'd say it lacks a little bit of originality.

What a voice
Not sure what departure you are refering to, but as soon as you strated singing, I was hooked. What a voice. Your quality is absolutely seductive. You should sing more love songs like this. What a voice you have. (Tingle, tingle.)

Just heard this
Don't know the circumstance behind the song but found
the message to awesome in it's simplicity. You have an
awesome voice and cranked out the pure, honest and
simple ballad many of us wish we could have penned. Nice
production. 10's as far as I'm concerned. I'm downloading
and sharing with everyone I know.
