Description:
McBoy sent me a tune he entitled, "Drew's Brew." His instructions, as always, were to "have fun." Thus, I concocted some of my Dirty South Brew. Don't get sick!
Hardware:
McBoy's gear; also sounds like a live drummer and pianist, though I'm not sure. I used Garageband, M-audio firewire solo, Modulus bass, and Sadowsky pedal.

TOTALLY Pro Level Capture and Mix. Live (i.e Real) is So Fine. Though
the 88 sounds Really Good - Big Spectrum. Guitar Rig2 is, obviously, a
Jump up for the Rig1 package, much higher articulation.
I'm doing the "Time Warp" if that is the Blues, or as Son House said, 'If
they get to Jumpin', it's not the Blues, Ya Unnerstand." What ever it is -
IT'S HOT!

Rock on! Love the southern sound. Leon Russell was my first rock piano
idol, but he didn't play a blazing guitar too. (Altho he did play trumpet
well. And was a great singer-songwriter.) Totally fun track, guys. Cheers

Absolutely love the gated drums,Guitars, soundscape... everything.... and the mix is so pro... (Composerclark are you out there... now this is a "shreader")... I'm hearing some Jeff Beck tone/style overtones... nothing on MJ sounds better than this... I'm completely knocked out... If our macs can sound like this, then I need to get back to work...

To reply to Scott, this is borderline shred guitar playing at
best. The father of shred guitar is Yngwie Malmsteem, and according
to Wikipedia, "Shred Guitar refers to a heavy metal guitar playing style
where technical proficiency and playing speed are the major goals,
often in a neoclassical framework. Beginning in the 1980s, shred guitar
appeared in a heavy metal sub-genre known as neo-classical metal,
since it often involved phrases and techniques from Baroque and
Classical music."
This is awsome guitar playing, to be sure, but I wouldn't say technical
proficiency and speed are the MAJOR goals. They're there alright, but
as I said initially, this strikes me as good ol' Southern rock with some
very impressive but always tasty guitar licks! The major goal was the
music, not the technique!

This cooks. Exceptional Vinnie Moore style guitar lines! Of course all the instrumentation is great. I love the main theme and the overall continuity of the piece coupled with great performances. Nice playing , i have no clue what a modulus bass is but the bottom end on this really gives this piece some balls... anchors it tastefully but also adds the right amount of movement and drives it!
