Lyrics
simple melody
written on your heart
have you made it sing
since we've been apart

simple melody
part of my life's song
can you hold it near
keep it for so long

remembering the tears
etched upon your heart
my simple melody
it's a permanent part

simple melody
part of my life's song
can you hold it near
keep it for so long

simple melody is fading
yet remains
captive deep within in your heart
with broken chains

simple melody
part of my life's song
can you hold it near
keep it for so long

Simplicity rules!
This is my first time hearing the tune. I like it a lot. The prosuction sounds great. I wish the Yamaha Silent Acoustid was more audible only because I've been curious about them for a while! I'd like to get your opinion on it!
It's hard to make something simple sound good. It's a testement to your musicality.

Re: Simplicity rules!
Hi, thanks for the nice comments!

I've had the Yamaha Silent Acoustic (steel string) for about 6 months now I guess. I bought it so I could practice and lay down tracks in GarageBand without waking the wife & kids. For that, it works just fine! It is not "truly" silent; I mean, someone sitting next to you or close by in the same room will definitely hear the guitar, but that's about it. Elsewhere in the house, they won't hear a thing.

It has a surprisingly good sound when listening with headphones or playing into GarageBand. I've used it on all my songs in MacJams. The action on mine is a little higher than I would prefer, and I need to replace the strings, I've just been too lazy. I would check out the reviews on Musician's Friend or other places like that if you are considering this guitar.

it's true what has been said so far ..
... your mixes come out so "clean" .... the vox are smooth and comforting .... I luv the little flute weaving in this one .... your guitar playing is also very smooth and sounds like it comes easy to you.
