Really nice guitar work. I wish there was a walking bass line.

Silky smooth!
The only thing I have against this tune is production related. You guitar
sounds really roomy. Lo-Fi recordings can have a certain appeal, but
not when mixed with super clean garageband drums. Here are 2
suggestions that might improve the overall sound.

1) Keep the Lo-Fi: all you have to do is put an effect on the drum track
called "plate". In advanced options under the track info, set the effect
to AUmatrix reverb and then subcategorize it as plate. Now the track
will sound like it's in a room. You might consider doing this to the
shakers as well.

2) Upgrade you studio. If you're going to do this, ask an expert. I really
can't give advice on microphones except that anything is better than
the pinhole mic on your computer. If you get a cheap mic, you'll also
need a preamp...*sigh, it gets pricey. I guess for now you might try
some unconventional techniques like hanging a thick rug or blanket
behind the mic. This'll give you a low budget sound booth. Personally, I
like to prop up a big futon, but we all have our tricks.

I hope this helped, I think you'll be alot happier with your songs if you
go the extra yard to make them.

Oh sorry, I was a bit unclear with the explaination of the blanket technique.
You have to aim the mic at the blanket, and then put yourself in between the
two. Cloth is a good noise reducer.

Good luck
