better, still spooky &mdash 08/05/06 - 07:33:33 PM
I don't have anything against eerie and spooky... but I do like this one a
little better, you've replaced the dragging coffin with somebody stepping
on spilled popcorn in the movie theater :-) This is a more interesting
sound than in your prior version, I think. The whole piece is weird, in a
good way.

:D Your associations make me laugh :)
Popcorn - cool !
I wanted to get the spookiness out (for you).
But now it seems to fit perfectly into the genre :D

reminds me of my ambient attempts last year... &mdash 08/06/06 - 02:08:36 PM
except you're able to make it into a coherent song-thingy. Doesn't sound
spooky to me - intriguing, enticing, tense, yup.

The panning is especially sweet.

As we hear this song we are passing to the gates from hell. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I see dead people everywhere... Blood on the floor... OMG!!! They come after me... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I am joking... This one is preatty good to a soundtrack of a terror movie....

Definitely an upgrade. Very nice layering of sounds along with clean
production. Trippy? Oh yeah!

Be well!

This is a cool track Robert - I listened yesterday and enjoyed it a lot.
No suggestions for improvement - just keep them coming.
Peace,

A spooky amoebic soundscrape. Time warp. Mind closet. CAvernous. Reflective. The edge of the escarpment where Tarzan encounters his educated demons.

I don't know about you, but as I listened to this, I kept thinking about that children's book _Where the Wild Things Are_, by Maurice Sendak. Something about creatures we can't see, but go bump in the night . . . or under the faint rays of a moonglow on a faraway island. And just off to the side, waves whip onto the shore, making whish-swish sounds mingled with the sound of falling limbs as little night creatures navigate from treetop to treetop. Nice images you have here.
