Quite a nice, relaxed and lounge style piece here. Great singing and a
side of Bizzare I'd never really heard before. No real critisms here except
that the delay effect on the guitar eventually got old for me. But I didn't
really notice that the first time I listened to this piece when Bizzare posted
a link for the iComp site.

Cool tune guys.

There is no delay on the guitar! It was recorded totally clean?

About the delay
Hey Biz, sorry about the misunderstanding. I wasn't talking like an echo or
anything like that... but the stereo effect that was used for the guitar for the
middle part of the song, would have been created by adding a slight delay on
the left channel... Having the guitar open up the stereo space like that was great,
but using a different type of stereo effect might have worked better... because
with such a naked and fragile song, every detail counts.

Still think you guys did a great job!

About the delay
Ohh Ok. To tell you the truth i don't know how that happened with the
stereo effect. It wasn't planned but I kind of liked it after I heard it. I thought
it changes it up a little and gave it some depth. I am still learning the in's and
outs of recording and production. So you think that the whole song should
be stereo throughout or mono? One or the other right? Thanks for the
comments man. You always have good production tips.

sweet girl next door
nice composition, nicely performed & sung... welcome to Macjams Susan!
You have a "fragile" voice here, which fits well in this song. About halfway
into the song, Biz's guitar accompinament suddenly snaps from center to
sides, which was a little distracting, but overall the guitar performance
was fittingly laid-back. Very clean simple recording, everything stands
out well, something I like.

SWEET SUZIE!
Hey suzie thanks for getting together with me on this collab! Your voice sounds great on this. The best i have heard you sing thus far. We'll have to do another tune one of these days. Not bad for a night of drinking brehaha's and whiskey.
Nice slinkin as well!

simplicity rules
Wow, such a great track and what a wonderful soul voice! Cassandra Wilson-type of singing and I dig that enourmously. So fragile and vilnerable but strong and convincing at the same time. I agree with drak on the rather 'bizar' panning changes in the guitar part. To be honnest, I like the sound of the guitar best in that second part. Very nice laid back solo Doc... which could easily be a bit longer for my part.

This tune just shows once again that less is more. Beautiful collab you two, and hoping to hear lots more of this yummie stuff in the near future.

Great singing
You have such a terrific voice. Excellent song and production. I thought
when it first started that it was too slow but as the song went on I realized
it was just perfect. Thanks for posting the song.

Cool and yet sultry...
Great track you two. The vocal and guitar are standing out there all alone, simple and clear, every note discernable. Nothing to hide behind. And nothing but a beautiful sound. Not an easy thing to pull off. Kudos to the Queen for her excellent lyrics and composition... and professional vox. The guitar playing wasn't too shabby, either... : )

I love it
I heard this before when it was posted a few weeks ago under the Dr's
account. As I said then in my comments I think this is just wonderful. I
love the simplicity; your beautiful, soulful singing and his jazzy guitar fill
it out so well, holding it all, saying it all. And the fact that it's also such a
nice recording and mix makes it stunning. I enjoy this kind of slow and
sincere music, particularly when it is done with such natural sounding
skill.

PUT YOUR NAME ON IT
I downloaded the song. YOU DIDN'T PUT YOUR NAME ON IT OR
ANYTHING ON IT!! It shows up in iTunes as "Track 06", no artist name,
nothing. It's bad for those of us who download and want to be able to
find it again and know who's it is. It's bad for you because people will
download it and even possibly pass it around to others and your name
(not even a song name) will be associated with it, just some annonymous
song that people really like but can never I.D.. THat's if they even ever
find it again.

Excellent!!!!
What an amazing voice you have!!!! Biz's guitar sounds beautiful also -
I'm really impressed - love those chords on "this time" section. Biz I
like the stereo guitar sound - adds real depth coming at you from right
and left like that. Slight hiss present in the quieter bits only (very
minor) nit.
Lovely song too. Definitely keep these coming - excellent!!

well done
Excellent collab. I agree that the vocals have such a lovely, fragile sound. I especially like the vocals in the middle part. The added strength and courage there really comes through well. Could they be a tiny, tiny bit more confident right at the beginning? Something to think about... fantastic job! Thanks.
