Description
For the fun of it i created this 60's psychedelic pop style song. basically a satire, but it does have a obscure story or maybe not. no loops

Lyrics
Better By Monday
it is sunny
wonderful day
lazy sunday
children at play
hot days summer
out on the beach
happy stoner
slow in his speech
summer comes summer goes autumn begins
dancing geishas
chanting elvis
on a video
swings his pelvis
the reserved girls
look a little blush
the music ends
an erie hush
the king lives the king dies affecting lives
chorus
better by monday better by monday
terrorist penguins
making a list
scratching ther heads
for the next hit
all will agree
for tuna fish
how wonderful
we will be rich
fry the rich eat the fish what a dish
chorus
better by monday better by monday
prairie canary
singing his song
drunk on berries
sunglasses on
wobbles on legs
wobbles in voice
bird on a wire
steadys his poise
build a nest chirp the rest morning pest
chorus
better by monday better by monday

...and i thought everything would be better by today too.
i love the 60's psychedelic pop sound approach. are you familiar with
XTC's release under the name 'The Dukes of Stratosphere'? it was
basically XTC's 60's psychedelic pop record. great stuff. this song
reminds me of 'The Dukes'.
I love your voice on this, the timbre of your voice and your laid back
approach is really cool. great rock voice. I love how each verse tells a
different story with its own 'summary' with the chorus bringing it all
together.
Performance-wise it was loose in a coupla spots, other than that i
enjoyed this song very much.
