Description:
Our flesh can drag us down....and down again

Lyrics:
thought I'd take a chance
to look in the mirror at me
and what I saw
well I was not amused
not at all

small small small
I think that's who I am
been trying to make myself look a lot bigger
than what I really am

I hear the call
set myself for the fall
as the blood drips past my knees
spit bone and skin
and feast off of my sin
the ill pleasure is all I see

maybe I'll just lay here a while
and sleep a bit
at least I won't have to face
any of my own disapointment

what did I say??
have I lost again today??
where did I go??
so where do the flowers grow??

I feel
I feel so raggedy
oh God help me

I hear the call
set myself for the fall
as the blood drips past my knees
spit bone and skin
and feast off of my sin
the ill pleasure is all I see
tear pieces off
and curse it with a cough
and I'll choke on the lies
that I'm free
swallow it whole
and be sure I don't show
where it is I'm dead in need

now I go higher
then we're low
and then we climb the ladder
and then we drop again
and then we drop again

this has to end

Surprised &mdash 08/22/06 - 04:41:20 PM
Woow, after the silent beginning i was surprised when you start to shout
out...Again a nice track from you Ian, but instead of this loud break out i
would prefer a heavy but not so angry part( Sorry i am again limitted by
language). What i mean, that in this parts it would be nice to have voice
instead of screaming. But this is only my personal taste. I love the silent
parts and the change to a heavy part makes awake. This is well done and
makes it exiting.

WOW, this track is GREAT!
I love the contrasts here, It all seems very cohesive, and the production is
as always, excellent.
I love your change of mood with the vocals, and harmonies are tight..
Nice one indeed,

full of tension and passion &mdash 08/23/06 - 01:06:14 PM
Hell, man, I loooove this track. Filled with passion and tension from a to z. The screaming part is extremely powerful, impressing and overwhelming. The silent breaks makes this piece so damned interesting and leave a space for the listener to digesting all that pathos. W O N D E R F U L ! Great work, Ian...

The break &mdash 08/26/06 - 03:06:18 PM
Woooah, made me jump outta my skin and chair, man

I like the break into the crunch-rage after the mellow-down, but I must admit i was startled as , "all get out"

Enjoyed this very much.

Dynamic awesomeness &mdash 08/28/06 - 03:01:12 PM
I just looove the dynamic changes in this. So much change but you still
manage to keep the track as a whole. Not something everybody can do.
One of my Spring Clock Wonder favorites - no doubt.
