Description:
This song was written for one of my favorite people in my life at the time. She was a career singer that gave up her career. She has a great voice, so I constructed the idea for this song to be a latin ditty - with a drum solo - and I apologize right now about the soloing. That was me trying to actually play solos. I should have left it to the professionals. Well, what is written in time remains in time, right? This is also from my debut release "What Is A Groove"... Enjoy!

Lyrics:
Ahhh, ah, ahhhh, ahhh, ahh, ahh, ahhhhh!

Silky fun &mdash 08/24/06 - 08:56:19 AM
Sometimes an "ah" says it best, especially with a voice like that. Sleek
and smooth Brazilian-Island-Latin groove with fun details. Sounds kind
of like a music bed awaiting more (solos, more vocals), tho. I dig the
exuberance of the drumming, pulling out everything from the box. (Yes,
as you mentioned, the keyboard solo is a bit stiff, but kind of adds to the
fun, if not the memory.) Happy, entertaining track, all the way to the final
roll.

Love it... &mdash 09/01/06 - 05:09:18 PM
...when I find myself listening and enjoying music that I'm not usually listening to. This piece is well worth a listen for so many reasons! Just like Tobin said, the vocals are soothing and engaging, but as a (former) drummer I couldn't help but being impressed by the percussion and drum solos making this song even more fun and exciting to listen too. Love the way the drumset is recorded; great use of the cymbals. The keyboard solo shows potential too, there are some really nice parts in there. Just listened to eDrews latest posting and I'm just amazed to find yet another outstanding talent here on MacJams. Wow!
