Some interesting choices &mdash 08/29/06 - 11:12:25 PM
I like this song a lot. It has some great ideas and some nearly classic
lyrics. The interesting choices I mention in the headline has to do with
the singer and the second singer who comes in but then dissapears
after one verse. Another interesting choice was to put the vocals so
heavily panned the way they were. That would not have been my choice
... but it's your song. I do like the way the echo repeats of the two
voices merged in the center channel. Even though it is really an artifact
of a shortcoming of garageband, that's a pretty cool effect!

Nail it &mdash 08/30/06 - 07:17:15 AM
This being a duet between true loves takes it to a whole new level. I dig
thew straight ahead feel, the classic rock lyrics, the unadulterated vocal
style, the sometimes aimless dueling lead guitars dripping with
enthusiasm. But the use of overused rhythm guitar loops detracts from
the homegrown nature of the tune. Consider a version of the song with
no guitar loops, just you guys playing together (with drum loops and bass
are ok). Then both the concept and execution will coincide and really hit
the nail on the head.

thanks &mdash 10/20/06 - 04:22:41 PM
this is really stupid, but what is the remix, do you mean taking some of the
(excellent) comments I have received and reworking the song?

Good song with great lyrics. Singing is good as well as the music.

The simple straight forward production is a plus. Nothing gets in the
way way.
