Description
This is another redo of a song lost on my dead Firewire drive. There's at least one previous version posted here. I'll leave it up for a while if anyone wants to compare and contrast.

Besides re-recording the tune, I also sped up the tempo a good bit from the original, other than that, everything's basically the same.

This is my first tune recorded with my new Epiphone LP-100 Les Paul. A very nice guitar for the money. Definitely affordable for those of us who really can't play guitar but want something impressive sounding and looking.

Lyrics
Alpha waves are being beamed from outer space
Don’t you fret, Doctor Who is on the case

He and Mr. Spock have had a row
What will Captain Britain do now?

Look at Godzilla run down Tokoyo
Will Flash Gordon make Godzilla go?

Buck Rogers will have to save the day
But, in the end, the Martians got away

Retro--------
To a time that came before
Retro-------
It’s 79, every thing’s fine
ooooeeeooooo oooo

Here comes the tin man looking for a heart
But Michael Myers cuts him all apart

Will Ben Kenobi be able to save the day
Or will he use the Force as he runs away

Nasa tries to tell us everything is fine
Just like the moonbase in Space 1999

Retro--------
Get ready for the transport
Retro--------
Step into the beam
Retro-------
Follow Plan 9 and every thing’s fine
ooooeeeooooo oooo

ooooeeeooooo oooo
ooooeeeooooo oooo
ooooeeeooooo oooo
ooooeeeooooo oooo

Poor Barbarella has gone right insane
Gamma rays begin to fry your brian

Use you raygun to try and raise the dead
To meet the zombies that live inside your head

Go on and set the Wayback
Retro--------
To a time that’s never been
Retro-------
It’s 79, every thing’s fine
ooooeeeooooo oooo

Wow...
This is me, sorry to say... Everything is brillian in this song; concept,
production, lyrics to performance... If I'd go to a club, this would be my
request for the evening, no doubt... Wow, when are the pogo generation
going to get back and throw "some" things around (including myself)...?

Dr Who
I landed here by reading the Dr Who post. Your song is great, I loved it. I'm surprised how it has been ignored and underrated ! I hope the post will fix this MJ's injustice !
Well done, mate !
