this is your usual stellar performance....it sounds like a mobile of
dancing butterflies or some other suitable crib acutrement....pretty
enough to conceive of conceiving another one.....whew! it ended just in
time!!

Love this mysti, voice is recorded and mixed so so well....you skills
grow steadily as a producer. The sound you have acheived is pristeen
and full of life...you are too much!!

thanks my friend, for all the light you bring me

deepest bows always
yer pal

What a cute picture.
You know, I can't hear your voice now without thinking about some of our
collabs ... so it's a little creepy. ;)
I like the ambience, and excellent singing.

Wonderful &mdash 08/29/06 - 05:44:49 PM
Wow! Incredibly calming, peaceful, and everything a lullaby should be.
Wonderful. I'm going to try this out on my kids tonight. I know they'll
love it, so thank you!

My, this is a lovely piece of wrrrrrzzzzzz..... &mdash 08/29/06 - 09:34:40 PM
This is hands down the single best interpretation I've heard of this classic tune.

And wouldn't you know it, as I'm listening, I didn't realize it until it was happening, but I was rubbing my eyes and yawning.

That is the mark of a great lullaby compisition.
...I need to find some electronica quick-- either that or a coffee shop still open this late.

Awwww! &mdash 08/31/06 - 07:39:25 PM
Very very sweet beginning although I kinda agree with Mungo in that
there's some creepiness (when the string drone kicks in). Maybe it's your
way of saying that life can be very sweet but it's not all peaches and
cream. I especially like the bit when you float off into your own
'variations' on the piano.

What a gift you've created &mdash 09/01/06 - 10:20:38 PM
This is just so beautiful, Cat... Done with such heart and tenderness.

This choked me up, even though my two daughters are well past this
stage. This song will have the power to do this to me until I die. You've
created something very special here., and I can tell you went deep inside
to do it.

I can't help thinking that it must be cool to hear your voice in the
headphones while you're multi-tracking something like this...

This is a lovely gift, and a great welcome to the world indeed. Betcha it
becomes a digital heirloom in the Granz household...

It so happened that... &mdash 09/04/06 - 04:03:55 PM
this was the first song I listened to on this great site, and I was stuck!
Great achievement this which made me go listen for more. So far I have
downloaded som 30 songs but there will be more, for sure. And, at least
for starters, it seems a good idea to stick to your favourite MacJams or
MacJammers; a varied bunch with great music of overwhelming softness
and peaceful loudness, or, whatever. But this was the best start for me.
And I hope you will keep posting...

Thank you! :) &mdash 09/12/06 - 12:59:42 AM
Thank you so much, those of you who have left comments here!

I really enjoyed creating this little tune. Sometimes I think the best
work that we do is that which we do for others.
So, I'm glad that it's been a positive listening experience!

I'll be doing more like this soon, too..

Thanks, again :)

Cat

PS: Oh..and Henke, welcome to MacJams!!! :)

Nice job on this Mysti. The oooh-harmonies had me ahhhh-ing
throughout. Lovely piano work as well. Kudos.

Peace!
