Description:
This one is me playing everything....A song about my stepson....Sados is the name of a pokemon trainor he created over 6 years ago....quite the imagination on the young lad....now at 12....the imagination still continues to blossom and explore....such an amazing boy.....this song is the sound of his energy....

Lyrics:
Sados and his son are off the walls
reeling back and forth
while the rodent is testing the roof
descend a sparkling, the music sings
as the mystery grows

for me
from you
a gift of souls

he sets his trap, and I've been caught
into space with him, is the only way
to him Mr. Binks is just a baby
he will give him a bath and then
he will put him to bed

for me
from you
a gift of souls

Sir Parker fights the yellow bear
is the madness at the playgound??
he rides the back of praying mantis
they may meet again
ocean windows fill the room
you're past Europa

for me
from you
a gift of souls

the map is on the mirror
but now he's sleeping and you cannot go

nice rock/pop &mdash 09/03/06 - 10:04:12 PM
A well produced track.

I like the whole cut. Not my style of music, but seems tight.

The vocals are a bit drowned, but I think this works.

The chorus is simple and nice.

Well done.

Ian, you've got this hard rock thing down man. I'm reminded of when I would go out to see about half a dozen bands a week... some bands I would catch whenever I could. If there was a quintet of you rocking out, that would be one of them. Nice rockin energy!

"the map is on the mirror" &mdash 09/05/06 - 08:28:34 AM
The lyrics, outside the context of your description, have a fascinating impressionistic sense. I love "the map is on the mirror/but now he's sleeping and you cannot go." Even if all these allusions are based in fact, the way you have compiled and juxtaposed them is wonderfully fanciful and clever, transcending the grounding inspiration. The ending is a bit lost in distortion, in my ears, and deserved a longer fade. Perhaps the entire track could have had a slightly more childlike feel to it, or at least a reposing moment or two, but I enjoyed the bass work and rhythmic drive.
