Nice! Rob, you've got some cool textures going on. I'm not familiar with the ambient style, but this is really wonderful. I like how you put regular breaks in there to allow the textures to show through. This track makes the mind wander and certainly would be great for meditation. Wundervolle Spur! Guter Job! Bits of Tangerine Dream One of the synths in there sounded very Tangerine Dreamy (a good thing), the wandering chords and effects create a mental disconnectedness, which almost creates a weightlessness, so I guess I can understand the low-G moon reference. I like some of your others better, but this was good. thoughts from the bull... one thing about most ambient music i've found, is that it all too often sounds like i'm listening to ambient music. y'know? the thing about your work is that you carefully accent the piece with bits and random nodes of sound that make the piece more "atmospheric" than "ambient." not sure if that makes much sense, but the piece is brilliant. i really enjoyed it and it's obvious how much time and consideration went into it. nice, nice work. thanks! Could use a defining or connecting thread/melody. But the quality of
sounds here is top notch. Powerful meditation stuff. Better than
medication.
